I have two achievements left in the first game. One for playing someone with whatever high rank which should be easy...and then I have so many missions to do. I don't know if I'll ever get that one. Oh and of course there is a get all achievements achievement...so I guess 3.

I'm not impressed, myself. Normally I'm a Capcom fanboy, but even I think this is too soon to release a newer iteration of the same game. If there isn't a cheaper DLC version made available, then I'll probably end up skipping out on this.

I'm sure this is pretty mundane for most of you but I wanted to share this. I got out my copy of Street Fighter Collection for the PS1. I started to play SSF2 Turbo and chose E Honda. I ran the gauntlet and beat Akuma. I am sure this is the first time I've done it.

They had Tekken Tag 2 playable at Evo, and it felt really solid even though it wasn't a finished build. It's so much more fun than Tekken 6. I'm really excited about it.

The Soul Calibur 5 demo also got my hopes up a little bit. It looks like it plays a little faster than SC4, and it didn't look like it had critical finishes anymore, and these are both great things. I'd be so happy if it didn't suck, but I'm not going to get my hopes up because Project Soul always lets me down.

I thought I saw a Thoth in my Tekken pool (14). That wasn't the Thoth from this board, was it?

Broward, I am getting way too many wins (the 10 win streak eludes me, god damn it), but I will be sad when enough people figure out this game and I am exposed for the fraud that I am. In the meantime, I can't believe I actually want them to come out with the DLC characters already. EX Iori comes out Dec 7 for $5. I'm so happy the netcode is not trash.

Tekken Hybrid is cute. The TTT2 demo is fun and the movie wasn't quite as terrible as I thought it would be. It's so weak that TTT doesn't have online play, though. Wtf Namco!

TTT also seems to have like noticeable lag on a couple stages where there's a lot going on in the background. That's kind of embarassing given that it's a 12 year old game. Come on Namco, get your shit together!

I still don't get why the fuck Mega Man and Pac Man are exclusives for Sony as those aren't Sony characters and would / should be on the 360 as well.

I mean, I don't really care all that much as I've never been a big fan of "guest characters" but still..

Capcom possibly signed a deal with Sony. I think MS does this all the time with Bethesda stuff. Either that or the 360 will be getting something else that hasn't been announced yet, or they will also get these two characters but after a set amount of time goes by (the deal could be that Sony has it first).

I know the talk that came out a week or so ago was that Ono was wanting to talk with Microsoft about using Chief and / or Marcus Fenix as 360 fighters but things couldn't get worked out in time. Of course, trying to get the rights to Marcus while Epic is in the midst of making Gears 3 and don't have the time to quality check how he's being used is kind of dumb on Ono's part.

Meh..I've already got a few teams picked out for SFxT and am looking forward to Soul Calibur 5 coming out on Tuesday.

Apparently a lot of people are upset at this version of Mega Man. They wanted him in UMVC3 and Capcom answered with this version from the boxart of Mega Man 1. I have no problem with it, but I think it's kind of weird how Capcom seems to be trolling a good chunk of their fanbase.

I think it's goddamn hilarious. But he was going to be in Inafune's Mega Man Universe, so they put him in this instead. So it's trolling the fanbase, a tribute to Inafune, a dig, or maybe all three. They could've put him in UMvC3 but as far as the rest of Mega Man lately is concerned, such as the cancellations, there's a little bit of irrationality from fans.
