Bad style match-up for you, considering it was one of the rangier fighters in the division vs. one of the smallest. Good scrap, though.

True, but Sherk was a lot slower a fighter than I wanted for a boxer.

Sherk's only advantage is he's a good wrestler, and has pretty decent power. But there's guys at his weight classes with much more power then he has striking. It's pretty accurate, actually.

Actually I thought Sherk wasn't bad for speed but its like night and day compared to my own Welterweight. I'll need to plan my next fight a lot different than what I did this time.

Sherks advantage is that he has the best takedowns in the 155 division. Its nearly impossible to defend.

I hadn't played an online match before my tournament match and I wasn't expecting the lag. I don't want to take anything away from Broward because he kicked my ass quite handily but I want to hope I'll be a little more competitive in the loser half of the tourney.

The thing that was frustrating me was when I'd throw a hook, you'd keep the distance with those damned body kicks. But all is fair in the Octagon.

I do have a question for the group though: After this do you want to do another tournament with another weight class (I have a few guys from The Pit that are interested as well who should give us an even 16-man field) or would you like to try a league with our retired CAFs? Personally I'd like to do another tournament because I'm working on a second CAF and would like a couple decently rated guys to throw into a possible league and because I just like tournaments.
