I have no interest in CAF's myself. I don't really find career very fun to play.

I'd be down with another weight class.

Just letting you know Matt that I'm still available for our match tonight. I've been waiting around all day while doing some paper work.

Forewarning: I'll be in Vegas from the 6-10th. Hopefully it won't disrupt the tournament, but I figured I should mention it ahead of time.

I'm sorry. Long story short, between noon and 1 P.M., my 5 year old 52 rear projection died. Being broke, I thought I was fucked as far as any games or TV would go.

However... I managed to call upon the ancient power of borrowing money from a family member who doesn't expect you to pay them back right away! As such, I replaced my old, recently deceased 52" rear projection TV with this- Proscan 40" 1080p LCD TV.

I was going for the biggest, cheapest 1080p set I could find at that price range, that had decent-good reviews. I saw that one for $550 and I am very satisfied. It'll take some getting used to, having a 40" screen rather than a 52". But this one doesn't cut off the edges of stuff like game HUDs and ESPNews scores (stuff near sides of screen).

And WOW... games looked excellent in 1080i on my rear projection, but UFC is so much brighter and just more vibrant and alive on the LCD screen. It's too bad I don't have a 360 with an HDMI port. My HD DVR has one, but I don't think TV shows go higher than 1080i anyway.

It's amazing how much better looking HD content is on this LCD TV, when it looked so good on my old projection set. The colors... I can taste them.

Okay, nerdgasm over. Anyway Stevie, I just finished setting that up and testing it out after a loooooooooong day preceded by no sleep last night. I am really sorry about not playing today, especially after I said I'd definitely be available Sunday, but shit was beyond my control.

So, tomorrow? I will be home from mid-afternoon on, and we're both in southern California so we don't need to worry about time zones and shit.

EDIT: Almost forgot. The irony of all this? (Nate knows the story) I had bought a PS3 and surround sound system months ago. The PS3 wouldn't work with my non-HDMI, non-720-displaying old TV. So I returned the SS system in order to get more money toward a potential new TV. I was only given a $500 credit line from Best Buy, however, so no TV. I returned the PS3 and got a Wii. Now, though I love my Wii, I have just become an owner of a TV that will run the PS3, and the only flaw the TV has is its tiny speakers. Surround sound would be great right now.

Josh Koscheck (Stevie) defeated George St. Pierre (Matt Young) via TKO at 1:12 of round 3.

Matt, you've been my toughest opponent yet.

Also, I realized I accidently tried to take you down when you were trying to touch gloves in R1... My bad for that. The timing threw me off. :(

It's cool. After that, I noticed you raising your fist from across the octagon at the beginning of the next 2 rounds and just did that. Having only played a few people online, I wasn't sure how frequently the touching of gloves was practiced.

But that was definitely a good fight, and my toughest yet. Your ability to take the mount very quickly and block transition attempts was impressive. And I thought I almost had the mount reversed at the end before you blocked my transition attempt and got the TKO by punching me 17 times in the head. ;)

To confirm: Josh Koscheck (Stevie) defeated Georges St. Pierre (Matt Young) via TKO (mounted punches) at 1:12 of round 3.

I've tried to find when bps is on..and he's either not, busy with something, or has logged off like a few minutes before I signed on.

I was wondering about the glove touching thing as there's been a few times in Career during the intros the fighters meet in the middle and my guy has touched gloves, then I've messed about with the buttons and he's walked away from the gloves.

Can you touch gloves after the bell too?

Touching gloves has to do with how I feel about the fighter. GSP and Fitch get glove touches. Matt Hughes gets a superman punch.

If BPS can't fight do we have an Alternate to take his place from the losers?

BPS21 hasn't fought yet in the tournament, so if we went that route, we should let someone who wanted in the tournament take his spot. I think Youth N Asia said he wanted in the next tournament. He could sub if we needed to.

I sent a PM to him as a reminder. If the fight doesn't take place by tomorrow night, YNA can take over.

I'm down, just let me know the info if need be. I think I'm easy pickings though

If you wanted to fight, all you had to do was ask. :p

YnA, I forgot to send a PM to, to get his GT.

I think I should just get a bye..

Bps replied to my PM saying that his work schedule has hampered his time to play (which is understandable) so unfortunately, to keep this moving, I'm replacing him with YnA who now controls BJ Penn. Guys, if you can get this match done either late tonight or tomorrow, it would be great. Bps, when you read this you are welcome to participate in a future tournament when you have the free time.

I just need an opponent, hopefully before the excitement of the trip distracts me too much.

Also, if YNA Steve Jennum's this shit, I'll die laughing.

I can do this in the next hour. If not then I won't be able to till Saturday night...might not be the best replacement. I haven't fought online, what name am I looking out for?
