Danny and Joey were best friends growing up, I remember they even showed clips of young Danny and Joey sometimes.

I believe he was only there to send them off to school on his days off, though I don't really remember. I don't think he always sent them off to school though.

Aren't morning shows pre-taped?

I think they established that Wake Up was live.

He seemed to always be there in the morning when they headed off to school. Making the girls change their outfits, giving Michelle the fruity hat to wear, etc.

Danny and Joey were friends growing up, and Danny met Jesse through Pam.

Eh, we might as well ask why every Bayside High School dance only had about 20 kids attending.

Bob, this stuff like "Joey's dad wasn't around when he was growing up": was it ever mentioned on the show or is this just fan fiction crap like that "Pam's Diary" site you showed us?

Joey's dad not being around was established in the episode where Joey opens for Wayne Newton. Since Joey's dad lives in the area, the girls invite his dad to the show, unbeknownst to Joey. They reunite and Joey accuses him of not being around b/c of his job in the military.

Yeah he didn't come off too great.. I don't think 'accuse' is the right word but that was the focal point of it.

Fun Fact: The dude who played Kimmie's boyfriend Dwayne (The dude who always said "whatever") played bass for Boy Hits Car aka the band who performed Lita's theme music.

Waldo Faldo appears as "Guy With Towel" in a season 1 episode of Family Matters.

I remember being very sad for Joey when they moved all his stuff from the spot under the stairs into his new room, but he thought the threw it all out. I also had a friend pick up and examine the Full House "House of DVDs" thing at Best Buy before she ultimately decided to put it down.

I'm surprised Family Matters finally made it to DVD. Maybe there's hope for Step By Step after all.

Yessss. I didn't think many people watched that.

Damn Blackberry browser has no access to the edit button. Add Weasel to my previous post. I loved when he showed "E-Man" how to pick up a woman. "Hey sweet thang how'd you like to buy me lunch?".
*girl walks off*
"HEY, C'MERE!"

If the Sasha "Cody" Mitchell direct to video Kickboxer sequels are on DVD, then who says there isn't a demand for Patrick Duffy and Suzanne Somers' 2nd most* famous work in digitized form?

*Actually for Suzanne Somers, it might be third behind Three's Company and those Thighmaster infomercials. Those infomercials might be #1 out of all of them.

The series finale of Family Matters may have been the most inexplicable half hour of television I've ever seen. My friend and I were just gobsmacked by the inanity while watching it during a BET marathon of the show during Christmas break.

To be fair, it wasn't supposed to be the series finale.

That marathon had a good episode where Urkel told Laura off. Or maybe it didn't, it was mostly Christmas themed.

Yeah, I know that. Though I really wonder where the hell they would have gone with the show if they hadn't gotten canceled. Would it have revolved around the married adventures of Urkel and Laura?

Incidentally, the Full House series finale is also in the Top 5 Most Bizarre finales. The other three; St. Elsewhere, Roseanne, and Alf.

Wasn't the Full House finale just Michelle getting an injury on a horse and having a clip show? Or was that her 5th birthday?

Yeah, it was kind of the former. She fell off a horse and forgot who everybody was and it was an excuse to show a lot of old quips. I remember it being a lot weirder than just that. I think they did one of those sequences where Michelle was hallucinating as an excuse to get both of the Olsen Twins on the screen at the same time, too.

Yes, that did happen.

I missed the episode where Vicki and Danny broke up and often wondered where she was during season 8, but still assumed the series finale would be their wedding. I was on a school trip to Quebec when it aired originally and I don't think I ever saw it until the TBS reruns.

ALF was definitely a show that got ripped off by not continuing. It ended with a big cliffhanger.
