Seems like everyone who finished so far went Yes Man route first time through. After setting the game aside for a few weeks I'm finally finishing my Ceasar's Legion playthrough. Maybe no one else has experienced it yet, but when Ceasar starts having headaches (after Boomers), you can talk to him twice with a Medicine check to get some experience. The second time he says "If you talk to me one more time I'm going to have you killed."

I talked to him again. He wasn't lying! All the work you did undone instantly because you talked to him 3 times. Haha. Luckily you just start back at the tent flap so it's hilarious more than anything.

I couldn't finish the independent route the first time because I rushed to finish the game and I wasn't leveled up enough. I didn't have enough supplies on the Hoover Dam.

I've done the NCR & Yes Man routes so far. I last saved my game at a point where I had the choice to continue with Yes Man or go fully with the NCR so I went back and did both. Next playthrough I'm going to try to do the same thing but with Mr House and the Legion.

I went the Mr. House route the first time through. Now I'm going through with the NCR. I might go back and do the Yes Man way, but I don't see myself ever bothering with the legion.

I killed all the Legion with with Boone and the flying robot. I don't know what the NCR is complaining about. It was easy.

I had to kill Victoria because the Legion route gives you no choice in regards to the Brotherhood. You have to kill them. Ugh. I love her.

Yeah, she's an awesome tank. I'm pissed, though.. I was trying to recruit all companions on my first NCR/Yes-Man playthrough.. Went to Black Mountain to get Raul.. told Veronica to meet me at the Lucky 38 and I've not seen her since. Not at the Casino, nowhere to be found. Didn't get a message that she was dead so I picture her trying to walk through some rock somewhere. It's really annoying because I just wanted to recruit Raul, but not actually use him. :(

Try going to the vault that has all the killer plants in it. For some reason when a companion gets lost they show up on the bottom level there.

YES! I hated that Vault. I also hated how the companions would constantly be "on alert" running around and looking for an enemy, even though the enemy was five floors down and nowhere near us.

I just finished that. No fucking clue why Rex was down there. Lost him in a fast travel someplace, I guess. The perks were active for me the whole time he was gone, too. This game's great, but man is it buggy. Froze on me a few times now.

Unless you've downloaded the patch the more you play through the game the more it'll freeze. The game has a hard time dealing with the size of the save.

Yeah, I installed it too and have had basically no problems so far.

I finally am getting deeper into this. I'm probably going to either go the independent or NCR route the first time through; I don't think that Legion is as powerful as the NCR.

Fuck the NCR. Soon as I get beefed up enough I'm going to slaughter those assbags with their own ammo, since I've been robbing the Ranger Stations blind.

I'm now Idolized by The Boomers. My kind of folks, those boomers.

Yeah the Boomers are probably my favorite faction. Crazy isolationists who believe bigger guns are always better? Count me in! At least, in a post-Apocalyptic world...

So if I'm vilified by Caesar's Legion is there anyway I can go to the Fort and get the chip without having to kill a whole bunch of them?

Yeah. It's kind of a plot contrivance but you basically get amnesty at one point.

I think my amnesty is gone as all the Caesar related quests are gone. I had Boone and he attacked the guys at the Cove and so we wiped that place out. I then read that Boone will attack Legion troops so I switched him out for Arcade and we headed out to the Fort where all shit broke lose as the guards there started attacking us.

Well - I'm not sure then. Because Caesar's guard will probably murder you in short order. The tent is a small space, there are tons of them in there, and they are all high level with crazy power punches. I wasn't capable of taking them out when I was Level 30.

I think I used a Power Fist (Pushy) and some grenades to clear out Caesar's Tent. I also had Boone and the flying robot with me.

The way it's looking right now that's probably what I'm going to have to do. Everyone must die.

Just remember should any earth shattering events happen in real life, avoid vaults or any confined spaces. Too many weird psychological events take place in them.

I'm using Cass as my primary NPC now, because of the Alcohol buffs, my character being a total chemhead and all. The mission at the legion camp sucked, because I was junked out on like five different chems. son of a bitch.

I still can't find Veronica. She's not at the 188. She's not at the Lucky 38. She's not in the basement of Vault 22. Not at the Brotherhood of Steel hideout. I even tried walking from the top of Black Mountain (where I sent her away) back to New Vegas - using a route I assumed the NPC would use - and nothing. I'd read a post elsewhere of someone doing this and they found her at the base of the mountain, but no dice for me. So annoying.

Either way, I'm taking my first/main character through the entire map so I can discover all of the fast travel locations. Finally got the 125 locations trophy last night.
