I have so many games on my backlog, but going through all the Many A True Nerd runs of Fallout 3 and New Vegas have me wanting to re-visit those games something fierce.

What build you going for, KingPK? I've always wanted to try a melee run, but I inevitably end up exclusively using regular guns.

I did a melee run in New Vegas for my second playthrough, on hardcore mode. It was super fun.

I always try to do different builds in these games.. but I always end up just being a sniper. Same with Elder Scrolls games. I always intend to try out some cool spellsword build but almost always resort to sneaking and archery. =\

I can't use a bow to save my life in any Elder Scrolls games. I end up being a melee user with heavy healing magic. I think it's just the nature of the enemies that influences my build type: in TES games the enemies tend to be melee focused, so it benefits me to be strong in close quarters, while the Fallout games are mostly gun-based so it doesn't make sense to open myself up to a firing squad in the process of running up to them to punch them to death.

Had to replace the computer a month back, and wound up reinstalling Fallout 3 and New Vegas. I forgot just how much New Vegas had my heart, and eventually brain and spine.
