Damn, more DLC? I guess it's going to take a while for the Game of Year edition to come out. Or maybe they aren't doing one at all. I see no new announcements for it. I didn't buy New Vegas for that reason.

This is the last one.

Early on when this first came out, didn't Bethesda say that there'd be something like 4-5 DLC's (missions, like what we've been getting) and then some smaller add-ons after that? I'm guessing weapons and armor and stuff like that? I wonder if they're still going that way.

Bethesda has also announced two smaller DLC packs for New Vegas, entitled "Courier's Stash" and "Gun Runners' Arsenal." The Courier's Stash includes the four content bundles previously available as pre-order bonuses, while The Gun Runners' Arsenal adds weapon mods, ammo types and recipes. Courier's Stash and Gun Runners' Arsenal will cost $1.99 (160 MSP) and $3.99 (320 MSP), respectively.

So about two weeks ago I booted up an old Fallout 3 save that had me just leaving Vault 101 for the first time. I'm now approaching 30 hours on that game and am having a really different experience. It's awesome doing quests I didn't do the first time and doing others a completely different way. It's actually making me want to give New Vegas another chance since I really wasn't too thrilled with it in my first playthrough.

New Vegas has more replay value in my opinion based on the factions. I went in for myself the first time and Caesar the second time. Still never went down the Mr. Hourse or NCR route.

DLC is good - not as good as Old World Blues, but good nonetheless.

It's very linear, but the Divide is tough and it's solid. The story is good. Tons of great loot/weapons.

Also - consequences for the rest of the Mojave. I chose to
nuke NCR territory
. Solid ending to the game, I think.

A question regarding the DLC in New Vegas; does it work more like Broken Steel (adds stronger enemies to the main map) or like Mothership Zeta (everything takes place off-map)? Or are some one, and some the other? I read that each DLC raises the level cap and (I think) some give you new, lower-level perks, so I'm basically wondering if it's safe to turn them on at a low level to get access to those perks, or if you'll end up having to face enemies that're too strong.

I found that at the end if you created a save at the right point you could Mr. House, Yourself and NCR all at the same time. You just have to repeat the Hoover Dam battle over and over again. I got all three of those. However, Caesar's Legion hates me so much I'd have to play through it again and be nice to them to get that ending. I may do that again one day, but Skryim now dominates my life. Maybe I'll just look the video up on Youtube.

I did enjoy telling the robot to throw the NCR General off the Dam and the animation that followed. I love all the snappy things you can say to the General when you go into business for yourself or Mr. House.

Fallout 4 is (hopefully) coming!!

http://thegamershub.net/2013/01/fallout-4-teased-by-three-dog-voice-actor/

It seems that Fallout could be getting itself another entry into the series, and it could well be set back in Washington DC or the nearby area.

Teased by Three Dog voice actor Erik Todd Dellums on Twitter, and spotted by VG247, he suggests that fans of Three Dog will be pleased by some upcoming news.

As he states it was an ‘official’ tease, this could well mean that Bethesda are gearing up to make a formal announcement of the project soon.

Perhaps it isn’t even a Fallout 4 announcement and instead some sort of twisted spinoff where you produce radio shows as Three Dog out in the wasteland. Although that seems incredibly unlikely.

Bah, I haven't even finished New Vegas yet (though I'm saved at the finale, just getting around to the DLC).

Dead Money was pretty OK, I guess. A lot of stuff at the end didn't make sense and a lot of the things I expected to tie together never did. Safe Deposit Box isn't as interesting an achievement as I expected it to be.

My Bethesda buddy has refused to tell us what he's working on since he finished helping out on Dragonborn, sooooo. Would love, love another Fallout game from them.

I wonder if it would a be a next gen game. I'm mad because Fallout:NV on the PS3 is prone to freezing and the save file grows exponential through the game. I don't think you can play through all the DLC and the main game under one file.

We're right on that cusp of when it's time to wonder. A year from now we should be on the next gen, if all the rumors are to be believed.

A next gen Fallout 4 on the skyrim engine would just be glorious.

Has anyone beaten New Vegas and gotten the Caesar endings? Seems like it would be hard to go through the game with Caesar liking you since everyone else would hate you.

I've always intended to do a Legion run-through in that game but I always end up changing my mind when faced with the actual decision of supporting those douchebags. ;)

That was always my issue too. Even in a game I can't support slavery. It just feels wrong.

I've never even adopted the slavery civic in Civilization.

I did a Legion playthrough. It's been so long that I forget the bulk of it but I know it ends with you storming the NCR operatives inside a base and killing the main guy. Then Legate Lanius comes and congratulates you for your victory.

So pretty much the NCR ending.

I always enjoyed going into the Legion camp and slaughtering Caesar after the fact and then hearing about it on Radio New Vegas. ;)

Fallout 3 is one of my favorite games ever, but New Vegas bored me to tears for some reason.

I felt like New Vegas was the Vice City to the original GTA 3. I think I personally preferred New Vegas, but it always bothered me how the clan system/ towns liking you didnt really work, or effect the karma system.
The second I started talking to Cesar, the NPR started attacking me, even though I had a great reputation with all of them, and pretty much did all of their missions.
