I was flippin through the radio today and heard a french song that j'adored. I think it's C'etait salement romantique by Coeur de pirate. Super decent. I definitely didn't think I'd be going through a french female folk phase, but here I am.

In my searches I somehow stumbled on The Blackberry Bushes String Band. They do a killer cover of "I'm on fire". Also, "Old oak grove".

I bought a Ray Parker Jr greatest hits album on vinyl for like a buck this summer and was just listening to it the other night. It's pretty good despite the fact that it inexplicably doesn't have "Ghostbusters" (seriously) on it! So I've been checking out some of his music videos and they're absolutely glorious '80s cheese. Watching this---I half expect Ron Jeremy and Nina Hartley to show up.
