WRASSLIN' and Sports Entertainment Images and Videos 2024!!!

A lot of video uploaders on YouTube are being a bunch of assholes by click baiting people into watching their videos by saying shit like "Charolotte Flair has passed away" and shit when everyone knows that's not true. YouTube has gone totally downhill, lately.

It was a battle, but he finished the deep dish after two gamengiris and a brainbuster. Then he Ganso bombed in the bathroom.

I love Funk's in-match promos during the Empty Arena match.

"Lawler you sonofabitching bastard....ahhh mah eye!"

Found a gem I've been looking for! AWA top babyface Blackwell working as a heel in St Louis...on AWA TV. He even calls out NWA champ Flair (with a giant AWA logo behind him) before mentioning Martel.

His feud with Brody actively happens during the taping as they do an angle. But then Blackwell in the same segment is shitting on Kevin Von Erich in his post match promo.

I looked up results and it appears St Louis TV spliced 2 AWA shows into one to make the local angles work and ignore talent that they were not going to book. I was curious why the same jobber appeared in 2 matches on the video.

Despite feuding with Adnan on AWA TV, Blackwell was aligned with a Temu Sheik in St Louis programs at some point, just another weird little part of this.
AND freaking VERNE owned a piece of Central States, so he should have had some booking quality control!!!

KAYFAAAAAAAAAAAAABE!~!

It was all kind of moot as Brody was about to leave the AWA after no showing a ton of shows where he and Blackwell were headlining.

OH and Brody and Blackwell team in Japan during this general time frame. KAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYFABE!

Later Sgt Slaughter makes his AWA debut via promo and he thinks the Iron Sheik is in the AWA before Resnick corrects him that it is a different Sheik.

Time for my yearly post about how this match was my kayfabe breaker once and for all.

WWF mag came in the mail earlier in the week and had a blurb about Bossman being blinded by Doink. Since my Sat AM Wrasslin' was CLEARLY live, this exposed that this shit was FAKE.

I was 10. A very dumb 10 I guess.

Bossman with his right hand taped up. Classic “look injured when you’re doing a job on your way out of a territory” move.

Ray really poured his soul into his random 1999 main event push but it just didn't click even if it gave us this poem and coffin surfing.

It was a glorified midcard feud that got a main event blowoff due to things changing around them, and that's cool. It's just too bad he and Show didn't click at all. But I was genuinely so excited and happy Bossman got to have a title match on ppv at the time even though there was no chance (which is sad since Bossman is one of those guys who looks good with a belt on his shoulder).
