I know people have been complaining about the buildup, but I'm looking forward to Wrestlemania. Going to be watching with a group of people, which should make it more fun.

It seems like no matter how subpar the buildup is, if there's one thing WWE has gotten right in recent years, it's Wrestlemania. They know how to put on a good show. Look at WM XXII, everyone was crapping on the show nonstop, and then everyone loved it.

This'll be the second year in a row where I was conflicted on buying WM because of HHH in the title picture, but it becomes a moot point because the Braves are opening the season at the same time so they win out.

Triple H has been a title match every WM since 18, except 23, which he missed.

It looks better that last year's. The only thing I don't like the build up to the Triple Threat Match.

Now we'll always know about Rocky Maiavia's Arial Offence.

I wonder what the chances are of Batista returning at WM in the HHH/Orton match, making it a question of which guy he'll side with considering they all used to be in Evolution together.

Slim? I thought Batista was out til June? I don't have a source, just a memory of reading it.

The last I heard he was due back right after WM. Has that changed?

 

[Adam]

The hamstring was injured at SummerSlam, in the same match that former World Heavyweight Champion John Cena was forced out of action with a neck injury. He is expected to be out of action for 6-8 months.

On the old board, we had a link to that Raw script and it said Batista would be out till May.

Maybe it changed then. Last I heard a few weeks ago from F4W/Observer was that he was healing way faster than expected and could be back soon.

So who knows, we'll find out soon enough.

So how many of you are ordering the show? I haven't missed a WM since I started ordering them live in 1994, and the streak will not be broken this year.

I shall be up until 5am watching Raw live here in England.

I'm getting more and more psyched for Wrestlemania. So psyched, that I am actually watching Smackdown. Also, the Fan Axcess this year looks great.

How do you think the end of the Jericho match goes?

He beats Snuka pretty quickly, then takes out Piper after lasting a little bit longer, then we get Jericho/Steamboat for about 8-10 minutes, with the finish coming with Ric Flair distracting the ref, Mickey Rourke punching Jericho, leading to Steamboat hitting Jericho with the finish and the pin, and we get Ric Flair and Ricky Steamboat celebrating together at Wrestlemania, with Mickey Rourke.

I said this somewhere else recently, has anybody seen what Rourke looks like right now? He was on Sky Sports live a few days ago and he is really growing his hair out.

I see him coming out as The Ram at Mania, after all this, he still might do it.

I think Jericho is going to eat a Rourke punch and a Stunner at the end while the Legends and Rourke get a beer bash

The build for the show has been off centered but I will still order.

The ending of Orton/HHH is screaming a run in/turn ending.

I still wouldn't rule out Stephanie but it would make no sense (neither would Vince or Shane)

workrate wise the show should be solid

I was pleased to find out that my stepsister will be renting this so I won't have to fight with Justintv. There was no chance of me spending 60 bucks on it. Talking about it with her aloud (I don't have any friends that watch wrestling so I never get to talk about it aloud) I realised that I'm actually pretty excited for it. I don't think any of the matches look like out and out snoozefests and most of the endings will be a surprise as well.

Bottom line: they can only really disappoint me with this one.

Some of the hype was ridiculous, but it will be a good show, guaranteed. Cena and Edge will once again bring the goods, HHH/Orton isn't just a match, it's LIFE OR DEATH! and nothing can be said about HBK/UT that hasn't already been said. Those three main events alone make it worth it.

I have not decided if I will be ordering the HD feed or looking for a stream online. The Braves on opening night makes the decision even harder. I also want to comment on how good of a job the WWE has done in making Wrestlemania feel like a huge event. Even with a questionable card it still gets amazing hype all over the country and feels like the biggest day of the year as far as wrestling goes.
