I wouldn't rely on that stream, just to be safe. I'm sure WWE has multiple people in charge of snuffing out pay streams like that, and threatening to sue if they go through with it.

I should also note that it costs $32.15 to see it in the theatre. Cheaper, yes, but still over twice what it costs for any other PPV throughout the year.. and there are added idiots to deal with. Ah well.

Man, I'm suddenly glad that Sky Box Office don't bump the price up for Wrestlemania each year. Its a flat rate of £14.99 per PPV at the moment (some are still free) and over Christmas they do a 3 PPV offer for £30.

I'll find an online stream most likely. I thought about buying the webcast, but they're insane if they think I'm going to pay 55 fucking dollars for it. I remember when the stream used to be like half the price of the broadcast PPV. They offer a one month free subscription to "WWE Legacy" whatever that is, and I don't want that.

I'm not psyched for this show at all, but it's Wrestlemania, I'm sure it'll be a good show, and once I see that massive crowd I'll get hooked

I ordered the Royal Rumble webcast in January for $40, and man, did I regret that. Before ordering, I checked to make sure I had all the correct specifications for it, so no problems there. It was fine for about half way through the first match, and then it just skipped and paused every 5-10 seconds, making it unwatchable. WWE.com support wasn't helpful, either. I asked for a refund, but was told that I had access to the stream for a week, so try it later on. It did eventually work (by Wednesday) so I didn't bother pursuing the refund, but I don't plan on ever trying a WWE.com webcast again.

The $6.95 one though, that's tempting.

There's free streams out there, paying for an illegal bootleg stream sounds really sketchy, I wouldn't recommend it

Yeah, ustreams and justintv both have tons of free streams. Just put the video on full screen and you don't have to deal with the comments. Thanks to streams I don't plan on ever paying for a ppv again

Chris, I miss the old days, man.

Aye, us Brits had it good for about 10 years. Then Channel4 decided they wanted to get in on showing WWE, so took some of the PPVS (Royal Rumble and a few random ones - this is back when WWE Heat was a BIG DEAL), then some kid died watching it - even though its late at night and a million warnings about photosensitive epilepsies. They even delayed the streams of live PPVs by 10 minutes to pixalate the blood - this is at 2am in the morning!

When CH4 dropped their WWE coverage, due to the kid's death, Sky took back the PPVs and put them on Box Office, ever since then its been a deadly downwards spiral and we've had to buy PPVs ever since!

Don't think I'd pay for a WWE Stream off the web, as you can never guarantee that their bandwidth is going to hold up to all the traffic - especially for 'Mania!

EDIT: Any news on TNA trying to upstage 'Mania this year? Last year's 'attempt' was pretty... well TNA.

I don't know myself Roy, but it sounds like he died from something to do with epilepsy.

Thank you for your complaining Chris and Adam. I now know the answer to a long-time question I've never remembered to investigate: Were WWF PPVs free in the UK? I remember always watching them live and Jim Ross would say something about people watching on Channel 4. That's crazy...I'd be pissed if I were you guys too though. Still 15 pounds for a PPV, even Wrestlemania, isn't too bad.

There's two ways to look at it Cookie. A) It's ONLY £15 ($30ish) but B) we do have to stay up til 4am watching it.

The PPV's used to be free all year round, but now it's probably 6 free and 6 paid.

Edit: And when I say free, you have to be a Sky Sports subscriber, which for an extra £20 a month, I'm not.

I miss the Channel 4 days. Memories of them going to commercial in the middle of Rock's Royal Rumble 2000 promo. Aaah.

Yeah, so I'm in the free streams crowd since I don't have Sky access at home. Assuming I can find one.

You guys may want to check out http://channelsurfing.net. I watch football/soccer games whenever they're not on TV (England internationals are mostly on PPV and I'll be damned if I'm paying to watch them play a friendly). They say they're going to be doing the PPV, although the channel they have on there now is just a justin.tv stream. Still worth a shot.

Also http://rawsd2007.piczo.com/?g=50964466&cr=4 that site claims to be doing Wrestlemania live via the link at the top. But currently the link takes you to a confusing mash of flashing images. I watch old PPVs at that site all the time though. Never watched one live on there.
