Ditto, and you can still switch around brands so no worries there.

Maybe that Lucha Libre drop will happen even sooner than we thought. I'm signed up for Best Buy's text alerts and just got a code to already get $10 off.

Just wondering, do I stand alone in planning on changing Mr. McMahon's theme in the game to "Obsession" by Animotion, ala last Thanksgiving's Raw [Where Ventura was host and Sheamus won the Breakthrough Battle Royal]?

What I wish is that when I've created an entrance for someone, I don't have to go back to a pre-planned one if I want the CAW to enter with a title belt. Once I've sorted out the timings and lighting and got the pyro to hit just as the custom theme kicks in, the last thing I want is for any title matches for my CAWs to either be no belt, or no cool entrances.

However, the option of putting the Pepsi Plunge in the game? THAT is cool. I can't wait to hear what Triple H thinks though. Everyone should give the move to Punk and then post YouTube videos of them defeating HHH with it.

I'm pretty sure if he wasn't broken down and ready to retire we would of seen a HHH/Punk feud and watch HHH kick out of the Pepsi Plunge.

Sure of it.

To be fair, I think I read that Punk stopped using the Pepsi Plunge well before the 'you can't use a Pedigree variation' thing because he said he knees were taking a beating from it. And the GTS and the Anaconda Vice are at least much easier to hit on people without such an unrealistic set-up.

That doesn't mean it's not getting made when I get this game.

I'm glad we get Steamboat but RVD is a shock. He's been in TNA since January, so I am surprised he was even included.

I remember reading that Vince wasn't mad about RVD going there like he was when Foley left...or when Hardy did this time. Won't be seeing Jeff in the legends section anytime soon.

That's true. Didn't think of that as RVD just kinda left quietly and nicely. I screwed up the timeline though, after thinking about it, he debuted in March, which would be a little bit closer to finalizing rosters.

But he was never one of the "WWE guys," so to speak. He was always looked at as an ECW Original more than anything and put somebody over (Orton, IIRC) clean on his way out. Then, despite an appearance in the Rumble that was a ONE TIME DEAL, he'd been pretty much out of the business until he signed with TNA. It's not as if it was somebody Vince ever thought he really gave the world to, like he possibly could with Foley and especially could with Hardy, so I don't see how there'd be a ton of hard feelings.

I thought you had to sign a Legends deal (or some sort of likeness deal) for your likeness to be in the game. Seems odd that a man in TNA for 10 months was able to allow his likeness in the game for a payday.

RVD and Steamboat are cool but I would have preferred Savage and Warrior as were originally speculated.

I believe he signed the likeness deal before he signed with TNA. Didn't he and Eddie do something similar with the Acclam LoW games? I remember them being in one a short time after coming to WWE.

Yeah, him, Eddie and I think Lawler during that period he left the WWE in 2001 appeared in the LoW game (which would also be the time that Eddie was released from WWE and RVD had yet to come, that window between April-July 2001 for all three). RVD probably is on some kind of Legends deal because I'm pretty sure they put him in some of their Legends action figure lines years after he left.

Just because it's a funny story...RVD actually beat Orton on the way out because WWE knew THE INTERNET knew he was leaving and thought it better to make THE INTERNET look foolish than put over their own guy.

He did come back a couple of times for surprise appearances. I know he was on one of those anniversary Raws and I think he did a Rumble spot once too.
