I've never had a very buggy experience with the game either (for 360), but maybe I was just lucky. I heard stories of the ring turning black and other strange things, it never happened to me, then they released a patch.

The biggest problem I ever had was in Universe Mode, I'd do a run-in and interfere in a match to help someone, then I'd get a cutscene claiming I helped the other person win which would mess up friend/rival alliances.

I'm getting bugs all the time. The best/worst was in a triple threat cage match when i went to do a running knee drop and the other guy picked up my opponent as i was bending over so i froze crouched over for a few minutes until someone hit me. I've also had cutscenes with in invisible attackers and things like that.

My best glitch was the pic I posted weeks ago with Kevin Nash encased in the ring steps.

There were more features announced for TEW2013. Nothing big. Tribute shows and personalized biographies for randomly generated people.

Bought Smackdown vs Raw 2011 used for PS3 a little while ago 'cause it was dirt cheap and I hadn't played a wrestling game since Fire Pro on the Dreamcast... Is it still possible to buy the Bret DLC? Either I'm retarded on the WWE Online interface sucks, 'cause all I get are boxes prompting me to buy that Axxess thing.

I'd like to know too. Hopefully it's not as overly complicated as it was on GBA and PS2.

It's sad that this is what they think people want when it comes to a wrestling game.

WWE '13, on the other hand.. I actually can't wait for this one..

I QUIT MATCHES AND KING OF THE RING RETURN IN WWE '13

You begged and you pleaded, requested and demanded, and now, we here at WWE Games are giving you what you want, nay, what you NEED: I Quit Matches and King of the Ring. That's right, when WWE '13 hits stores on October 30, 2012, you'll be able to play through one of WWE's most brutal contests, the I Quit Match, as well as the legendary King of the Ring tournament.

To answer your questions about these two returning and totally revamped features, we caught up with none other than Senior Game Designer Bryan Williams, who was kind enough to give us a rundown of how things work…

I Quit Match:

-The I Quit Match is finally making its long awaited return! The match type has been completely redesigned from top to bottom to provide players with the most authentic representation of the I Quit Match ever seen in video game form.
-In keeping with WWE programming, the I Quit Match is a 1-On-1, no holds barred, anything goes affair. Utilize anything and everything within the in-ring environment to force your opponent to say the humiliating words, "I Quit!"
-When your opponent is in a grounded state, press the pin button to summon the referee to the grounded opponent. The referee will kneel down and place a microphone in front of their face. It’s at this point that the I Quit mini-game is triggered. Stop the moving cursor within the designated target zone before the words “I Quit” fully materialize on screen to inform the referee of your desire to continue the match. If the opponent is unable to complete the mini-game in time, they’ll automatically quit the match. If a Superstar is in possession of a stored finisher icon they can use it to automatically win the mini-game and continue the match. However, doing so will result in the loss of that finisher icon.
-When an opponent is in the midst of performing the I Quit mini-game, the attacking Superstar can utilize an Intimidation taunt to increase the difficulty of the mini-game. Performing an Intimidation taunt will cause the mini-game meter to shake violently, which makes it that much harder for the defender to complete the mini-game in time. Use of Intimidation results in a loss of momentum for the attacker so think twice before using it. If the attacker doesn’t have a sufficient amount of momentum within their meter the Intimidation taunt can’t be used.
-The I Quit mini-game can also be triggered by applying a Breaking Point submission hold on an opponent. Just like grounded situations, the referee will position themselves near the trapped defender and position the microphone in front of their face. Complete the mini-game successfully to break out of the submission hold and continue the match. Failure to break out in time will result in a loss.

King of The Ring:

-Create your very own King of the Ring tournament! Players can choose the number of participants (4, 8 or 16) as well as the gender of the participants involved (that right, Divas can also take part in the King of the Ring tournament).
-Players can also choose the type of match that they’d like for their tournament (Normal, Backstage Brawl, Hell in a Cell, Iron Man, Ladder, Last Man Standing, Steel Cage, Submission, Table, TLC and Extreme Rules).
-Participants in the tournament can be chosen at random or selected by the player.
-Each match in the tournament can be played or simulated.
-The King of the Ring tournament can be played solo or with a friend.
-A special coronation cut-scene is shown for the winner of the tournament.

They still haven't announced features for Universe Mode 3.0 yet, but I am really hoping for some kind of multiplayer aspect. It'd be really neat to be able to compete against a friend who is running the rival show, or run a glorified fantasy league, or something along those lines.

Waaaaay back - let's say SVR 2007 - they had a 2 player head to head GM mode. It wasn't filly fleshed out other than a ratings graph and star ranking on feuds, and it all had a very basic formula to booking that got old, but it was kind of fun for a bit.
