Both companies have things they can learn from each other as far as presentation or pacing or just storytelling. A happy medium absolutely exists but I honestly know what I'm getting going into either one, and both companies have some flaws that the other excels in. It makes it more fun.

Apparently there are big changes in the creative for Mania. Rock returning last week set this off. From PWI and Meltz.

A whole bunch of money has suddenly come in on Drew winning the Chamber. Cena was the favorite since the match was announced.

And the creative for Smackdown had to be rewritten for tonight.

Cody was apparently legitimately injured during the Cena turn angle from Travis Scott with a black eye and a busted eardrum according to Davey Boy Meltzer. Worth it for the mainstream attention they have continued to receive from ESPN and the Daily Show.

They are loading the show up next for the MSG show with a Seth/Punk cage match.

Turning Cody right now would have been an insanely awful decision. He’s the most unanimously accepted pure babyface champion WWE has had in forever. Ride that gravy train as long as you can.

The online reaction to this is hilarious, everyone immediately rushing to take sides.

Some people are outright saying this didn't happen which I find hard to believe. I think these people forget sometimes that they don't actually know these wrestlers. 'Someone musta been mean', 'I don't think Shayna would want to fight someone for no reason (?????)' etc how the hell does anyone know that? Fans are so weird about wrestlers these days. They think you're gonna have a roster of hundreds of people and somehow everyone's gonna get along with each other. Then if two people don't get along, the locker room is a drama zone and it's bad for the company. Like fucking what? It's perfectly normal to have a wrestling company with people who want to fight each other in said company. For some people all it takes to want to fight someone else is to get stiffed one time.

Also Carmella did an interview saying wwe fired her/let her contract run out because she was pregnant and the Fed defense squad is very mad at her saying wwe didn't do that with Alexa or Brie when they got pregnant.

Their husbands didn't shit all over the company in public. It's sad that she thought being a company woman would save her in a scummy company like that one. WWE can't just find other roles to keep slotting people into as they get older, those roles don't exist.

• Fightful had asked WWE talent about the incident shortly after Jade Cargill was written off TV, but those in the locker room had been quiet.

• it was claimed that Cargill took issue with something that had unfolded, and the word around the locker room was that Cargill had said something to the effect that Baszler needed to learn how to work.

•We're told it stemmed from the match in Scotland where Cargill tapped out in what wasn't supposed to be the finish of the match. Upon returning to WWE,

•At least one talent in the locker room mentioned that the promo where jade returned and said the locker room was full of wolves in sheep’s clothing was taken personally by a number of talent as they kept the issue between she and Baszler quiet.

•Cargill's absence was also the subject of heat in the locker room. Talent had heard that Cargill asked for the holiday tour off, but was told that the tour was mandatory. Jade and WWE claimed that jade was injured, multiple talent doubt the validity of this claim

I actually remember the match in question, and the way she reacted to the hold Shayna had her in is the universal signal that the hold is too snug. So someone going back after the match and telling people someone needs to learn how to work? Not shocking. You can't just tie everyone up by the neck as hard as you can and squeeze and expect that people are gonna suck your ass after you're done working with them.
