NEWTON, Wis. (WFRV) – Across 83 years, not a lot has changed at the sixth-generation Pine River Dairy. But time has finally caught up with one item: the price of ice cream scoops.

“We were waiting, kind of dragging our feet, we didn’t want to raise the price and then finally this past year we decided it was time,” QA manager Samantha Hammel said. “We just finally had to make that change, everything’s been going up from ice cream costs to spoons to cups to ice cream cones and everything in between.”

Now, the price per scoop will be 50 cents, up from 25 cents. The store opened in 1941 and began offering ice cream in 1978, and this was the first time that the price of ice cream needed to be raised.

That was the second time WI voted for him over Feingold, the first was in 2010. And then they reelected him again over Mandela Barnes in '22.
 
We neglected to mention SCOTT WALKER wants to run for governor again now that Tony Evers will not seek re-election. Walker had at one point stated he would bow out after 2 terms but was nice enough to run again so he could be defeated properly.

Evers could only clean up so much as Wisco is gerrymandered to hell so the Republicans own the place. Our new State supreme court finally addressed this, but a D will have to win to get anywhere with it.
