I was being sarcastic. Young people tend to be overworked, empathetic, intellectually curious and decent. No, not all of them. But the contemporary stereotypes about "the millennials," etc, are wrong and dumb.

And, yes, Republicans have shown themselves to be obsessed with reality tv. The ratings, believe me, the ratings. Believe me.

It really feels like they're punishing anyone who dares to have views that go beyond bland centrism. Even if Biden wins in November, they're going to have some really pissed off people in their younger base (if it even is their base), and clearly haven't learned a lot after 2016.

After they didn’t come out for Bernie, I don’t know what the fuck they expect
It sucks that the youth vote wasn't as high for Bernie as we hoped, but i honestly don't think it would have mattered much. The 18-34 group only makes up around 25-30% of the adult population of most states. Youth voting numbers were lower than 2016, but still higher than previous elections. It's just hard to beat the boomers at the numbers game.

(I do realize that the share of young to old Democrat voters in that age group is probably higher than the average for all adults, but I'm not sure if there are any hard numbers online to compare it to.)

It is better for those people not to speak. After these four years are over, a very sizable amount of people will be rightfully complaining that not enough got done, and they can point to stuff like this as a reason why. Getting Trump out of there is crucial right now, but after he's gone and it's time for another election it will be time to get it all out there. Kamala Harris is not going to make it through that primary in four years and Biden will be too old to do this again. That's how I feel about the whole thing anyway.

Trump attacking social security and not caring about Covid deaths might not be the best strategy of all time for getting the older vote.

So somebody explain to me why people would not have their own mail boxes to mail ballots out in. I understand the delays, removing the sorting machines etc that are built in to the issue, but even when I lived in the cheapest bungalow in Green Bay, I had my own mailbox at the apartment. The removing of extra mail boxes in public just seems like a move to streamline the process so the mail carriers have less stops to make.

Please don't construe this as support for the move, I am just struggling with the outrage over this particular part of the Post Office mess. I assume its a matter of urban areas having problems with their mail pick up and deliveries?

The only way to mail something in my neighborhood is to drop it in a public box or at the post office, or hope that you see the postal worker when he comes by. Maybe I could tape an envelope to my mail slot with a note if he had to come in to my yard because I had mail that day.

So the Republicans are sabotaging the US Postal Service to rig the election. Who cares? The Demon-cats are having a musician play their virtual convention and Harris did lesser-evil stuff in, like, 2010.

What happens if Kamala Harris isn't eligible to be vice president

I don't mind Kasich speaking, but to think that he needs to be there is ludicrous, especially with it being a virtual Convention this year.

Biden and Harris are both going to be speaking from Wilmington, DE. Looks like the only people who will be onsite in Milwaukee are the Wisconsin based politicians.

I hope Milwaukee gets an actual convention. Great choice for a DNC. They elected three socialist mayors!

President Trump and Vice President Pence are both making special guest appearances in Wisconsin this week.
