Graham will probably win but just being that close still cheers me up.

"Both surveys (in Florida) showed Trump and Biden splitting seniors. That's bad news for Trump, given that he won them by a wide margin in Florida in 2016. That's something Republicans are worried about — not just in the presidential election but down ballot as well.

Democratic sections of the district (Nebraska 2nd) have been registering Democrats since 2016 faster than Republicans have been doing so in right-leaning areas.

The average of the polls shows that the race has tightened (in Pennsylvania) by a few points but that Biden is still ahead. And better polls have shown a wider margin than the average."

And hitting Trump about how he's not actually that successful of a businessman is what hurts him most. When he had his Comedy Central Roast 10 years or so ago, his bankruptcies was one of the subjects that was off guards.

I will donate to her on my next payday. Will try to get a little money to some of the other senate challengers. I've made donations to my local state legislature races and hope to do a couple more rounds over the next few weeks. Will also probably make at least one more to Biden/Harris.

In Minnesota, where the contest between Trump and Joe Biden had seemed to tighten in recent weeks — and where both candidates stumped on Friday — a CBS News/YouGov survey last week had Trump running 2 percentage points behind Biden with white voters, after carrying them by 7 points in 2016. Even among white voters without college degrees — Trump’s base — the president was far short of the margin he had against Hillary Clinton.

It’s the same story in Wisconsin, where Trump won noncollege-educated white women by 16 percentage points four years ago but is now losing them by 9 percentage points, according to an ABC News/Washington Post poll. In Pennsylvania, Biden has now pulled even with Trump among white voters, according to an NBC News/Marist Poll.

et tu whitey?

The first presidential debate will be held on Tuesday, September 29 at Case Western Reserve University and Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, OH. The format for the first debate calls for six 15-minute time segments dedicated to topics announced in advance in order to encourage deep discussion of the leading issues facing the country.

Chris Wallace, moderator of the first 2020 presidential debate, has selected the topics for that debate.

Subject to possible changes because of news developments, the topics for the September 29 debate are as follows, not necessarily to be brought up in this order:
The Trump and Biden Records
The Supreme Court
Covid-19
The Economy
Race and Violence in our Cities
The Integrity of the Election

All debates start at 9:00 p.m. ET and run for 90 minutes without commercial interruption.

Went up to Portland yesterday for (what turned out to be a completely unnecessary. Grumble but this isn't Rant Fu) appointment and was pleasantly surprised to see a lot more Biden signs on the way. Even people countering the doofuses with multiple Trump in their lawn by having multiple Biden signs on their lawn.

If the Nazi Party maintains power after November, we ought to place some burden of responsibility on media types like this.

Trump's celebrity status shielded him from criticism for his crazy statements in 2015-16. Like when Michelle Bachmann, Rick Santorum or Ben Carson said wacky stuff, media wasn't afraid to say this is "Some wacky bullshit". But Trump was VERY AVAILABLE for interviews the past three decades, his wacky bullshit was somehow worthy of serious discussion? They legitimized a total clown. I'd almost rather have Rick Santorum!

All while they were broadcasting Republicans' mocking of Obama as the "celebrity in chief"
