Scurll went from being pretty beloved to universally hated almost overnight. I don't think anyone really liked or disliked Flip to any tangible degree, just a recognition of "oh that guy's fine"

ATM at the indie show I am at is in “the locker room” and I asked the promoter and a referee I am friends with if I could go downstairs so the referee chaperoned me there.

Debit card gets stuck in the ATM momentarily and I look over and FANDANGO is warming up and he turns to me and says “Hey. You’re not gonna rat on me if I piss in the trash can, are you?”

Not even halfway through the year and I already have two contenders for my favorite celebrity interactions ever.

Especially since the ATM didn’t eat my debit card.

I did not have X-Pac pushing for a Darius Carter comeback on my 2023 Indie Wrestling bingo card, @Laz .

Accidentally injuring Pete Dunne during one of PROGRESS’ first US tours really damaged Darius’ career.

Also I will never forgive Beyond Wrestling for giving him and his goofy stable an unnecessarily long winning streak then not booking them before it could come to any resolution.

From the 1-2 conversations I had with my friend who was a wrestler during that same era, he was an odd (but very friendly) guy that was just misunderstood by the locker room.

There has to have been something wrong though for him to go to having a long ongoing storyline in one of the biggest indies in the Northeast to mostly relegated to working shindies.


He did win the ECWA Super 8 tournament last year for whatever that is still worth.

I don’t think Tremont is involved in XPW though.

He did hire scumfuck Rob Feinstein to help facilitate that debacle of an Onita show at the minor league ballpark in Trenton on Halloween 2021. Tremont seems more harmless than most death match idiots but he is not infallible!
