I read he helped UConn to their first double digit Win season since like 1998 so best to jump at the peak of success in a program like that.
 
Navy rolled Memphis 28-17 to go into their game against Army at 9-2. Western Michigan also beat Eastern Michigan earlier in the week 31-21 to be 8-4 going into the Bowl? Games.

New Mexico beat San Diego State in OT with both programs finishing at 9-3 going into the Bowl Games. Boise State beat Utah State 25-24 in a fun game (Utah State shot themselves in the foot getting too cute trying to go for 4th Downs, eschewing the FG points). #25 Arizona also knocked off #20 Arizona State handily 23-7.

Tavita Pritchard will be the new HC at Stanford (He's been the QB Coach with the Commanders since 2023). Oregon State has hired JaMarcus Shephard as HC. He's been Co-OC/WR Coach under DeBoers at Washington & Alabama the last 4 seasons.

Florida is reportedly targeting Tulane's HC Jon Sumrall.

Sounds like UCLA is close to finalizing a deal/trying to close with James Madison HC Bob Chesney. "Chesney won 29 games across his final three seasons at Holy Cross, guiding that school to record success, and has transitioned to the FBS level with 20 wins (and chances for more) through his first 25 games atop the JMU program."

Navy OC Drew Cronic has reportedly turned down the UAB HC position so they'll be pivoting to other candidates.
 
Lane Kiffin tried to bully Ole Miss and won’t get his way and will go to LSU telling his staff if they don’t leave today they won’t have a job in Baton Rouge.

Memphis’s Ryan Silverfield is leaving for Arkansas.

Florida will hire Jon Sumrall from Tulane.

thanks to crumbl cookies, Sitake is going to turn down Penn State and stay at BYU.

Tim Skipper, who was UCLA's Interim HC, is taking over Cal Poly as their new HC.

John Grass will be leaving Clemson to be the new HC at Samford - "Grass most recently was a head coach for eight years at Jacksonville State, aiding that program's transition from Football Championship Subdivision powerhouse into scrappy FBS program. In 2021, Grass led the Gamecocks to one of college football's biggest upsets this decade when they toppled host Florida State in Tallahassee, Florida."

Collin Klein, Texas A&M OC is set to be the new HC at Kansas State taking over for the retiring Chris Klieman.
 
Penn State took its sweet time getting a new HC but they’ve found someone willing to spend time in State College, PA with Matt Campbell from Iowa State who has been a popular candidate for years.
 
Cal has hired Tosh Lupoi as HC while UAB has named Alex Mortensen as HC.
 
Kennesaw State won the C-USA Championship going 10-3. #25 James Madison is 12-1 winning the Sun Belt Championship. #20 Tulane went 11-2 beating #24 North Texas to win the American Conference Championship. Boise State finished 9-4 winning the Mountain West Championship.

Also some bowl games getting confirmed including
- The inaugural XBOX Bowl with Missouri State vs. Arkansas State
- Hawai'i Bowl featuring Cal vs. Hawai'i

Washington State's Jimmy Rogers is leaving to take over Iowa State as their HC, opening up WSU.

Toledo is losing their HC, Jason Candle to Connecticut. Memphis is now hiring Charles Huff as their new HC from Southern Miss.
