My opinion on the Tony Khan thing is that comparing WWE to Harvey Weinstein is a poorly worded joke because like one's a company and one's a person, but honestly who cares.

Also the average non-fan thinks wrestling is cringe anyways. I don't see how Tony Khan being a weird little dude looks any worse than, say, any image of John Cena in jorts. And it's nothing compared to almost any interaction Vince ever had with more mainstream media.

It should have meaning, as you're angling for a debate but I can't objectively take you seriously due to your inability to come off well. 909 should be commended for trying given the levels of selective hearing and whataboutism he's wading through.

Again, you are arguing like Jingus. That's an observation, and a call for improvement for the sake of your own arguments. MikeSC devolved more into the "inflammatory name calling," however you are much like Dama in the sense you're basically pulling the HIVE MIND argument for no real reason other than more than one person disagrees with you in the mildest of ways. Comparing you to Dama, of course, doesn't mean I think you're from Oklahoma. I don't wanna add to alleged name calling.

I appreciate you not denying that you don't pay attention to the AEW discourse on the board, though.

Whatever you say, brother. When I write that I think the comparison today of WWE to Harvey Weinstein was a misstep by Tony Khan and the first post responding to me says “Why defend rape?”, it doesn’t exactly begin the road to a civil conversation. It was a bullshit equivocation and discourse went downhill from there. I’m over the debate. I said my piece.

It's obviously not fun being compared to Jingus but tbf I think he meant purely that you are making a huge post, and not that you are in fact a pedophile. Or the inventor of Bullet-Time.

I’m sure you’re right. But there were surely other ways to mock me for making a long post or comparing me to an argumentative doofus than directly calling me Jingus. I think it was meant to get a rise out of me and it did because, well, nobody wants to be compared to Jingus. Even Vince McMahon would be disgusted to be compared to Jingus.

I do only hope to one day invent something as brilliant as Bullet-Time though. The man was light years ahead of his time on that one.

While I agree "Why defend rape?" isn't an accurate interpretation of your statement, it can absolutely be interpreted that way at face value in this context and it also was designed as a way to provoke you into elaborating on your position. So it gave you a direct opportunity to elaborate your point, stumbling as it may be. Discourse progressed, but not in your direction. I feel like you're exaggerrating any dogpiling and conflating it with both confusion at your argument or people finding it funny. Invoking Hitler alone was a self-inflicted torpedo.

And, I mean, if your posts resemble Jingus, that is the only comparison that makes sense. If you were serving MikeSC, I'd have said that.

Tony's comment may not have been the brightest thing to say but it's proven to be a nothingburger that only anti AEW folks are still running with. His appearance was recieved well and most everyone has moved on. If WWE wants to respond they can and there's no issue if they do.

It's so fucking funny how the AEW socials keep replaying TK's brutal assault while also talking up his appearance with the neckbrace. That's the most on brand aspect for the Bucks, too.

I mean, y'all could have compared him to me...

NFL Films has apparently been following Tony all day for a documentary or special. I will just say that clearly I was right about them finding him interesting. They don’t give a shit about anything negative here.

MJF reportedly went and had surgery for his shoulder after hoping PT would be quicker and successful but that appears to not be the case, so his return will remain further down the road.

Honestly just stay away as long as you can let him and get the stench off him from the devil abomination. Keep the cupboard stocked for new programs when he returns well down the road.

It's a sports PPV provider that has a lot of popularity abroad. Losing it isn't a great sign, but it's not the death knell some are making it out to be since BR and Triller both offer AEW.

DAZN started off flamboyantly, signing Canelo Alvarez to a huge contract. They had a lot of money to give away then but weren't so good at, ya know, promoting and doing stuff. So, Alvarez left, etc, and now people aren't even sure if DAZN is still a thing.

Maybe Mr McMahon will buy it!

AEW continues to add more talent from Professional Bull Riding league and have poached Jeremy Flynn to serve as their new Senior Marketing Director of Live Events.

Hopefully his approach isn’t “hey where is WWE doing shows? Let’s go there right after them” or “how many weeks in a row can we stay in Texas”
