The problem is gonna be keeping them all there without any of them quitting. Miro especially I expect not to be around very long

I should also be clear that I’m against the Saturday show only insofar as I am not spending every Saturday sitting here watching wrestling. I might watch it once a month or not at all. Saturday’s a day to watch fighting, football, or basketball. Not wrestling. If the show was on a Tuesday for example then I’d watch it.

One of the better front and back ends of Dynamite that they have ever done IMO. Starting with a well built 30 minute draw (will they extend this chase to All In/All Out for Cole?) and then what can you say about the main and the post-match stuff. All the way excellent. Where does Kingston fit in Forbidden Door I wonder? Theres alot of that card still to set but glad they at least got the world title matches locked down.

I'll be going to Collision on Saturday and expected maybe a bit more on a lineup announcement, but what they have so far I am on board with. Guessing Punk opens the show with a cryptic promo on stuff, and then also I fully expect KENTA to do a run-in after or during the six man to set up that match with Punk at FD.

I will note that as apart of him returning that CM Punk signed legal documents that he can't publicly comment on Brawl Out or disparage involved parties or the company.

So if either of those are in the interview he's either risking being sued for his entire net worth or working with approval from TK.

Cody would have totally headlined Collision had he stuck around, yeah?
Yeah but there was no way he would ever stick around because the company is completely antithetical to what he wanted. I heard once that he got into a full blown screaming match over booking. And there’s about as much chance of me saying who told me this as there is of winning the lottery. But he will never go back. The 2021 AEW summer run everyone was loving made him very upset and put him at odds with the Bucks and ruined their friendship

Bringing in WWE guys and pushing them was something everyone wanted but he didn’t want it. I think maybe he thought the company’s main goal should have been to get he and his friends over but no matter what you think of the other guys, obviously that isn’t their big intention because look at all the stuff they’ve done.

Apparently Punk said stuff about working with Kenta that is going to go over extremely badly. Then I guess he told ESPN his version of what happened with the Elite.

Details on the interview coming out tomorrow:

In addition, Fightful reports that a number of topics will be covered in the interview, including discussion about The Elite. Word of mouth backstage in AEW was that some of that didn’t go over well based on second-hand tellings.

According to the report, AEW set up and monitored the interview, but it was conducted in a way as to blur the lines between storyline and reality. Punk was said to be aware of the fact that he would come off as polarizing.

I can think of no one I want to see work SANADA less than Jungle Boy. What a waste of a spot.
Judging from his promo, I’m not sure Jungleboy wants to work Sanada.

Or any match ever for that matter.

Like everything they do with Jungle Boy, why not use Darby instead? A Darby/Sanada match would be better.

Darby/Hiromu is what's up and should happen.

I want either Sanada/Kingston or Sanada/Swerve, personally.

Not much to it. The only new information really is we've heard that Punk and The Elite can't be on the same show for "legal reasons" according to Meltzer for some time. Dave never made it clear if it was Punk, AEW itself or The Elite. This interview makes it clear it isn't Punk in that regard. I would honestly be surprised if it were The Elite too. Especially Omega. I'm guessing it's AEW's legal due to the potential lawsuits if Punk goes off again and punches a Buck.
