This is the interview we were supposed to be worried about? The only "new" thing that I got from this is (according to Punk), Page may have taken some liberties in their match at DoN? Yeah, maybe I'm sipping too much sugar-free kool-aid (can Straight Edge people have sugar/caffeine, I mean, Punk has a fuckin Pepsi tattoo...) but I'm excited to have Punk back tomorrow night.

The only thing I get from the interview is that he's paranoid and insecure but we already knew that. I really don't like Kevin Kelly. He's awful on NJPW (like the other night burying Wada and other really stupid shit) and the last thing AEW needs is more announcers, especially older guys (he's 56) associated previously with WWE. They should be using younger on-air voices as much as possible to look like the cool alternative.

The opening has been released. The names in the open are pretty interesting. It does include MJF, Bryan Danielson, OC, Darby, Sting along with the other known names. No Mox, Jericho, Elite, JungleBoy, Sammy. Gives you a basic idea of who will be featured.

I've seen a lot of mix responses online over it. Many saying the song doesn't fit the aesthetic, and that the song is too light for wrestling.

But, I like it. It's different from the countless hard rock songs over the last 25 years. It kinda reminds me of Animotion from Saturday Night's Main Event in that it's not a traditional wrestling theme.
