This may have been reported already in this thread, but apparently they had only sold between 2,000-3,000 tickets to the Affliction show total (according to the MMA talk show on HDNet), so there was serious worry there, plus Showtime was the financial arm of the pay per view show and was balking hard at wanting to go forward with the show as well. With that said, I guess it makes sense why it was cancelled, but it's still a bit of a shock, all the same. Especially now seeing how its turned to them just becoming another UFC sponsor again. Damn.
