In news that will sadden fans of Josh Gad and modern day Billy Crystal, FX cancelled "The Comedians"

Maybe hollyweird will finally stop trying to make Josh Gad a thing.
He's going to be in the live action "Beauty and the Beast" movie, and then there's "Pixels"

He's just one of those guys I'm not going to like. The ads alone for that president show set that for me. Voice acting? I'm ok with him there.

It was originally a Philip Sermour Hoffman vehicle, and he shot the pilot when he died. They were in scramble mode after that. I heard it started well, but the season ended on a boring note, so I'm not surprised at that.

The next season of "Banshee" will be its last. Also, NBC cancelled "Welcome to Sweden"

Not a cancellation but after 45 years on PBS first run episodes of Sesame Street will be moving to HBO. The deal is for five years. The show will still air on PBS but with reruns from HBO several months after the fact

Eh already in the Muppet thread but this is pretty surreal news. HBO will produce twice as many episodes

Seems like a great deal for Sesame Street. 2-4 year olds who watch it on PBS don't understand/gaf about whether an episode is new or not.

There was an article that I saw earlier that said it's not fair to kids in low income houses because they can't watch it on HBO. I guess they missed the memo that said it will still air on PBS about 9 months after airing on HBO.

USA cancelled "Complications"

I tried that show's first 2 episodes and it was less House M.D. I was hoping for and more... serious drama emphasis on serious!!!! with the hospital as a near literal backdrop. Also didn't care for the main character at all or his issues he was getting involved in.

I figured it was coming. They rushed it and did all six over three weeks. I feel like they tried to force people too much on the not-so-likeable secondary characters anyway. I like Craig, so hopefully he finds something to do.

I'm like the only guy who posts here lately, but whatever. Here's some updates on ratings and whatnot

Fox: "Bob's Burgers" got renewed for two more seasons, "Minority Report" is tanking, "Scream Queens" is doing pretty well.

CBS: "CSI: Cyber" and "Hawaii Five-0" are bombing, "Life in Pieces" is doing good.

ABC: "Blood and Oil" isn't doing very well, "Dr. Ken" is doing better than I (and apparently critics) thought it would, and every Shonda Rhymes show continues to do bang up numbers.

NBC: "Blindspot" is a big hit and got picked up for a full season, "Heroes: Reborn" is doing good thus far, and "Let's Give Wesley Snipes a TV Show" (aka "The Player") is bombing.

I always read your updates but I don;'t care about any of the canceled shows. Dr Ken I knew would do well because people are idiots. The only new show I've kept up with so far is Limitless. I watched a couple episodes of Muppets which I liked fine but I forgot about this last one. I might watch it some more or might not.

I guess if you count Colbert's version of Late Show as "new" I watch that too and I think he's doing a great job.
