The Following got the axe after three seasons. I got tired near the end of season one and taped out.
I found it to be genuinely awful and loathsome in equal measures, so good riddence

The following shows have also been cancelled

-Marry Me (I wanted to like it more than I did, but poor Casey Wilson and Ken Morino)
-Constantine
-State of Affairs (So much for that Katherine Heigel comeback)
-About a Boy
-One Big Happy
-Battle Creek
-The McCarthy's
-Backstrom (Do people actually like this bullshit, or is it just some sort of ironic joke I don't get?)

Oh, and not that anyone cares (or is surprised) but "Mullaney" was cancelled in January or February.

Agreed with Marry Me. I just couldn't get into it. Got the vibe Marino wasn't crazy about Casey Wilson from an interview I heard though.

Constantine was only other one off this list I watched, also with total indifference. I had quit on Backstrom early. Know my parents watched The McCarthy's and some guy from the show was on the Red Sox game the other day, seemingly hopeful they would be back.

Enjoyed both Battle Creek and Backstrom. Both were decent enough. Hate that the former ended on a "will he tell her how he feels?" cliffhanger.

Battle Creek isn't over yet. It is on my DVR. Still not being renewed.

Good for her. She's a lot more likeable than her show, though.

Hopefully someone picks it up, netflix would be my first choice, but maybe A&E, would be cool to see it back to back with Bates Motel.

NBC sucks for this, but really, how about all the people not watching it? Hell, a large part of the horror community itself is to blame for this. All these folks who will show up to the theater to see some pretty awful movies, yet can't give something of the high quality of Hannibal the time of day because "I don't do TV"

Agreed, hell I was surprised NBC let it run this long, it never had great ratings and most expected it to get axed after the first season.

I'm not surprised at this, and cant fault NBC at all here. They gave it 2 seasons more than many probably expected. The last episode drew a .5 rating and under 1.7 million viewers. The first season drew over 4 million viewers, and even then they waited until the last second to renew it. This one is on the viewers.

Other networks would have killed it sooner, so I'm grateful that it got as long as it did. Hopefully they can put a satisfying ending on it, or find life on Netflix or Amazon.

One of the other issues is that they can't get the rights to the Clarice character, at least the name. I believe this season is Red Dragon, so next season would have covered Silence of the Lambs, and you can't have that without Clarice.

NBC cancelled "American Odyssey" and Lifetime cancelled "The Lizzie Borden Chronicles" which I had no idea existed.

Not familiar with American Odyssey, I am familiar with The Lizzie Borden Chronicles, primarily because I still carry a small torch for Christina Ricci. I'm not the least bit surprised that it was canceled, and that's not even a comment on the quality of the show: I mean, Lizzie Borden was portrayed as the protagonist, and every episode ended with her getting away with killing somebody else. I still don't grok how Dexter pulled it off, and this show wasn't written half as well.

At the risk of coming across as more misogynist than usual, the only thing that could have saved this show is Ricci taking her clothes off.

In news that sucks for me and fans of Hulk Hogan as the voice of the megalomaniac, steroid abusing dean of the worst college in America, Adult Swim cancelled "China, IL"

Maybe hollyweird will finally stop trying to make Josh Gad a thing.
