NBC cancelled "Powerless"

I watched two episodes then called it quits. The show was a case of "talented cast, mediocre writing"

that's disappointing. It got a little better after Episode 2. Not great but it was trending in the right direction and I still liked the concept. I'm disappointed.

Too good of a cast for the premise and also felt off brand for NBC sitcoms but then again what's left for sitcoms on NBC? Superstore and Carmichael, both are solid if not at times really good sitcoms but Powerless didn't feel like it fit in.

Liked Powerless, but expected it to get killed.

I'm really worried about Agents of Shield getting axed though...ratings are trash but the show is WAY better than it was when it started. I feel like a lot of people are missing out on that one.

Indeed, I mean I liked it from the start but it has improved alot. I'm really liking the set up they have now with the changing story arcs over the season, makes it really feel like you're watching a comic book.

ABC has finally cancelled "Last Man Standing"

Did they can it because of bad ratings or because Tim Allen made that stupid statement a few months ago on Kimmel about how being a Republican in Hollywood is similar to being a Jewish person in Nazi Germany?

Since it's Disney, most likely the latter. I'm sure they can replace Tim Allen with the talking dog show.

Last Man Standing must do well in syndication since it's all over the place, wouldn't be completely surprised if Allen is willing that it can find another home.

Fox cancelled "Son of Zorn", "Making History", "Rosewood" and "APB"

There were four time travel based shows this year ("Making History", "Time After Time", "Frequency" and "Timeless"). They all got cancelled.

ABC has cancelled "American Crime", "Imaginary Mary", "The Real O'Neals", "Dr. Ken", "The Catch" (never heard of it) and "Secrets and Lies".

I want to use your avatar for Dr. Ken, but I already used it.

American Crime was really good, but not surprising as it gets atrocious ratings.

Glad i'm not the only one who enjoyed Making History. Pally is always great, and Leighton Meester was a suprise.

I think they expected "Making History" to be cancelled. While watching it I was scanning Wikipedia and the original season was shortened almost immediately.

"Timeless" being cancelled is bullshit. That show was absolutely outstanding. And of course it had a huge cliffhanger.

I really feel like it's to the point they should just stop doing season ending cliffhangers unless they know without a doubt they're getting an additional season. I don't know how the TV business works but there's got to be a better way.

CBS cancelled "2 Broke Girls"

I watched it but I'm surprised the show lasted as long as it did. I hope there will be another showcase for Kat Dennings' tits in the near future.

I guess there was nowhere else to go with the premise of the show, once they started a successful business together, and the flat-chested one had a movie made about her life. They probably ran out of contrived reasons for why they were still working at that diner. Oh well.

I second that emotion.

A lot of terrible sitcoms getting the axe this go around with The Great Indoors, Dr. Ken, 2 Broke Girls, and Last Man Standing all gone. I'm scared to think if anything worse replaces them.

I thought Great Indoors was okay. Not great, not can't miss but it was fine for what it was and just another short show for to me pad stuff while making dinner. Seemed like they were starting to figure the direction down the stretch once they got past the LOL MILLENNIALS they were doing in the beginning. They did a little bit but not as over the top as it had been, so to me a little unfortunate it gets cut this early because odds are, it does come around with something worse.

I was not a fan of Dr. Ken but knew people who liked it, seemed to at least fit the ABC family comedy mold but based on the fact they built it off his real life and this season apparently ended with him booking Community, they probably knew it was dead because there wasn't anywhere else to go.

Broke Girls and Last Man Standing were both shows I'm shocked lasted this long but assuming they will both haunt us in syndication. Broke Girls I know is there already not sure on the other show.

I caught an episode and thought it was near unwatchable, but I'm not much of a Joel McHale or McLovin fan to begin with. I'm definitely not the right audience for it.

Last Man Standing is on a bunch of channels in syndication like Not ABC Family, various WGN affiliates, and Hallmark. I'm shocked TBS hasn't got ahold of it yet.

Yeah, Last Man Standing is haunting us daily in syndication. Didn't realize it was even on Hallmark as well. God damn.

My mom loves Last Man Standing and is torn up over "the best show on TV got canceled". Her other favorite show is Big Bang Theory.

New Girl renewed for an 8 episode last season, which makes me a happy camper.

Fox cancelled Scream Queens. Didn't know it still on, but the ads always looked annoying.
