The Mick ended on such a dark note that I'm not sure what they could have done with it. I am sad about B99 though but it had a decent run.

Pissed about The Mick. I read some ideas they had for the third season and they sounded really good. I was enjoying it as much as the last three or so seasons of Always Sunny. Can't believe AP Bio got renewed while having lower ratings than The Mick, but Lorne Michaels has power over NBC.

NBC is terrified of Lorne. They don't want to potentially piss him off

Yeah, that's what I figured. It fell to a 0.5 at a point which is lower than any of the Fox sitcoms, but they don't have Lorne.

I was hoping they'd give Last Man a shortened season at least to end it properly.

99 being cancelled is bullshit. Best comedy on network TV.

It's the only network show I watch. I guess I can stick with Better Call Saul/Legion/Westworld on glorious cable.

It sounds like Fox is replacing all these comedies by trying to bring back Last Man Standing. They also picked up the pilot for the lame sounding Retirement community comedy from Charlie Day called Cool Kids. So, they are going all in on getting older viewers.

I could see "Brooklyn 99" getting a final season on something like Hulu, as it's produced by Universal and not Fox. On the other hand, when they started running it on syndication on TBS it did pretty bad, so probably not. "Last Man" and "The Mick" are Fox productions, so I don't see them coming back. A shame, since both ended on cliffhangers.

I hadn't been able to watch "Brooklyn 99" or "Last Man" much over the year, as my life (a job chief among them) hasn't given me as much time to watch TV as I used to. What I saw of B99 was still good, though "Last Man" seemed to be slowly running out of steam IMO. At least Kristen Schaal got work.

Re: "AP Bio"-it's not a bad show, and the cast is great-but it just feels like a show that's kinda there. There honestly isn't much about it that stands out, and unlike something like "The Mick" I don't find the protagonist to be particularly interesting.

ABC cancelled "Designated Survivor", "Quantico" and "Alex, Inc." Meanwhile, NBC cancelled "Great News", "Taken"and "The Brave". Fox cancelled "The Exorcist" and "Lucifer". Syfy cancelled "The Expanse."

Fox brought back Last Man Standing so there's some real entertainment at least.

Yeah, I heard that was happening. They also ordered the pilot Cool Kids which stars mostly actors in their 60's and 70's, so Fox is trying to get the CBS demo.

ABC canceled “Kevin (Probably) Saves the World”, meaning that either the world has finally been saved or we’re all doomed.

That almost makes up for The Mick getting cancelled, but watch Fox pickup Kevin Can Wait to pair up with Last Man Standing.

Considering the shows Adam Sandler connection, I could see it going to Netflix.

I enjoyed Superior Donuts. It was the perfect sitcom to have in the background while doing something else. I'm pretty confident that Jermaine Fowler will not have trouble getting work.

Kevin Can Wait failed miserably at being King of Queens II.
