I can't recall a year that took out so many of my parents favorite shows to watch... and I only knew one of them that existed. All these names I had no clue what they were but apparently The Catch was the best spy show of the decade (I don't think it's a spy show but I don't know what it is.)

I liked the kid in Big Little Lies but I wouldn't expected him to play Young Sheldon. Good news for Jim Parsons though, this should give him another decade of work.

That kid won't have any of Parsons' charm and will just be obnoxious and unlikable.

NBC cancelled "Chicago Justice"

Good.

I am somewhat ashamed to admit that Chicago Fire, Chicago PD and Chicago Med are guilty pleasures of mine. So naturally, when they announced that Chicago Justice was coming out, I was on board. Plus, they moved one of the main characters from Chicago PD over to the show, and on top of that, they put in some big time tie-ins to the original Law and Order, having the lead prosecutor on Chicago Justice be the estranged son of Ben Stone (one of the greatest TV lawyers of all time) from the first five seasons of Law and Order. Not only that, they had a couple of characters from Law and Order make guest appearances. I figured that factoring all that in, it couldn't miss.

But it did. The plots were paper thin and nonsensical - even for the Chicago franchise shows, and that's really saying something. And a couple of the characters were so awful I couldn't stick with it and gave up mid-season. Worst of all was the Assistant State's Attorney played by this terrible actress Monica Barbaro. I've never heard of her before and I hope I never hear of her again. She was so bad she ruined every scene she was in.

The problem is, those shows tend to crossover and connect a lot, so I had all of them saved on my PVR just in case of a future crossover which might feature some random Chicago Justice related storyline I didn't get. Now I will erase them. So much for Dick Wolf's plan to have a Chicago show on every night of the week.

I could go for a political comedy about a corrupt Chicago Alderman and his family. We can get Josh Gad some sitcom work as his dimwit son.

I'm already lobbying Josh Gad for my reality show called Strapped to a Rocket to the Moon.

Should try for a sitcom about a Chicago Garbageman

Make a TV show about this, give it the Chicago Garbageman name, and it prints money.

Netflix cancelled Sense8. A bunch of friends are bitching about this one on Facebook. I didn't know it had that much of an audience.

24 is done... again.

I loved 24 initially. But tv has gotten so much better since the show went of the air that it just felt stale when it came back a couple years ago. I skipped this latest round.

I really liked this show so I'm bummed. They cancelled it after Carmichael himself announced he was leaving the show to pursue other interests. In only it's third season, it is their current longest running comedy.

Comedy Central cancelled @Midnight.

Since he has like 17 others shows I think Chris Hardwick will be fine

I watched it in the beginning and quickly fell out of watching it. Dude keeps busy. Might be a blessing.

It would be nice if a Netflix or Hulu or maybe even SyFy stepped in and picked it up, but I doubt it. Season 3 has been really entertaining too, so I hope it has a solid ending.
