Ah I guess so, and I guess it is a big thing for Nintendo as this is one of their major titles, and as we've been saying they're lacking some big inhouse games at the moment. SMG was awesome, but I think I was a little let down that it just looked almost the same except for Yoshi - however, to be fair, I didn't really feel that way between the Halo Franchise (felt a bit cheated and let down after playing them though).

The Nintendo Channel has trailers from E3 up. Yoshi is also available for all four players in NSMBWii. There's also a PENGUIN SUIT~! that works like the Ice Flower in Galaxy.

Yeah The Beatles are my favorite band of all time, so yeah it's an opening day purchase for me. although The Walrus looks like something out of Donnie Darko or something.

I almost died laughing when Kojima showed off the MGS: Rising teaser.

Kojima: I am pleased to announce we are finally bringing the Metal Gear Solid Franchise to Xbox 360!

Crowd: YEAH! WOOOO!

xbox dude: Kojima-san, we're honored and we cant wait to see what Solid Snake does on the Xbox360.

Kojima: I did not say anything about Solid Snake. :D

*MGS Rising Trailer plays.*

"Raiden... is back."

Cut back to the crowd/arena... ONE PERSON clapping, and its the GUY ON THE STAGE.

That was hilarious.

I hope people give that game a chance, sans Snake. Chances are when Kojima is involved the story is going to be great. I didn't mind Raiden at all in the previous games, to be honest.

I didn't either, but I still laughed. I'll play it when I eventually get a 360 though.

I'm about to watch today's shit. the MS stuff from yesterday was total win. No one mentioned the confirmation (from today) of 1080p Perfect Dark for XBLA?

That was kind of a letdown though. Hopefully it's a competently made game this time, however.

Perfect Dark on the N64 was incredible. If they include a Halo/Call of Duty like control scheme, it'll be the best multiplayer FPS on the system.

Microsoft has a new motion controller that looks like a combo of an Eyetoy and a Sega Activator and you can use it to play sports mini-games or interact with a virtual boy (and I don't mean the headache-inducing Nintendo console!). Also there's something called Halo Reach and an MGS game for 360.

Sony has their own motion controller that kinda looks like a vibrator and they showed off a bunch of games we all knew about like God of War 3, Uncharted 2, Gran Turismo 5, etc.

Nintendo showed a Wii Remote attachment where you stick your finger into a pulse sensor and it tells you how nervous you are. Really! Plus a New Super Mario Bros sequel for Wii, Super Mario Galaxy 2, a new Metroid, and best of all, a fashion game for girls.

According to Miyamoto, Galaxy 2 is very, very far along, but since Nintendo has New Super Mario Bros. Wii, it's going to hold off and keep Galaxy 2 for next year. More than 90 percent of what you will see in Super Mario Galaxy 2 is all brand new. Maybe even 95 percent. Galaxy 2 contains roughly the same amount of content as the original. "With Super Mario Galaxy, it's the first time we really worked with spherical worlds and we had a lot of ideas about how to use gravity. However, when we finished the game, we realized there were a ton of ideas we just couldn't fit in," he says.

NSMBWii features roughly 80-something levels.

Did the Sony dude say Castlevania Bloodlines is coming to PSP? Wouldn't be my first choice for a remake in the series but I'll take it.

No, it's Assassin's Creed Bloodlines. :(

You know, that Assassin's Creed 2 trailer made me want to actually finish Assassin's Creed so I know just what the fuck is going on. I heard it gets all Alias on your face, so I'll have to wait and see.

7:22 p.m.: Unfortunately, no online mode in New Super Mario Bros. Wii, by the way. Miyamoto just confirmed. Wii is already being overpowered by what's happening on screen in New Super Mario Bros Wii. So no power left for online.

Hmm, looks like a snes game from that screen shot, but I guess having 4 people fucking about at once must take a lot to track. YET, I'll bookmark the two Mario games as a buy (still need to buy Mario Galaxies instead of stealing it from a mate).

There's a boss battle but the "ending" is a freaking attachment you read afterwards.

"It will take you deeper into Samus' story, and further into the Metroid universe," said Nintendo's Reggie Fils-Aime, who prefaced the introduction by stating Nintendo's intention to develop a "mature" game that would satisfy internet-dwelling fans.

Oh, Reggie, never change. It wouldn't be an E3 without him being a condescending ass.

Soooo a lot of sequels and people trying to capitalise on the Wii's success. Great. Grand. Wonderful.

Being a PS3 & Wii owner;

I was really impressed with Uncharted 2. The first one was pretty damn solid and came out of nowhere, and it really looks like they stepped up the action in the sequel.

God Of War 3 looked excellent as well.

The motion control sensor looked okay, but it still has a ways to go before it comes something I would ever be interested in buying.

Assassins Creed 2 LOOKS amazing as well, but so did the first game, and I really hope they found a way to keep the game from getting repetative after being an hour into it. It's still awhile until the game comes out so I'll have to wait for more information.

Interested in seeing more on the new Madden as I will be getting it when it comes out.

As far as the Wii goes, Mario Galaxy 2 looks fantastic. Plus, with Mario Galaxy being such a good game, you take what worked and what didn't and make a direct sequel, I can't wait to play it.

What's up with NSMB Wii? I missed the footage of that. Is it supposed to be like an updated version of the old-school platformer Mario games; Sidescrolling and stuff?

And finally for now, Rockband Beatles looks amazing, I just wish it was GH Beatles instead because I am just that much more a fan of GH's style and playability, and something always seems off when I am using the GH drums for Rockband(2) and I really am not interested in having a second set of drums sitting around.

Oh and really FINALLY, I didn't see the footage of MGS for 360, but if it features Raiden, don't worry because Raiden from MGS4 was fucking sick.

Re: Raiden. Agreed. The scene with him, near the end, leading up to Snake vs Liquid was the shit. I really hope that this whole confusion about it being exclusive or not gets solved soon and let us know if it's also coming to PS3.

Yeah, with 1-4 players possible to play in it. It seems to be new and not an enhancement/expansion on DS NSMB, though.

The new Castlevania for 360 and PS3 is called Lords of Shadow. Previously this title was thought to be unconnected to the Castlevania franchise, so I don't know if Konami pulled a Dinosaur Planet/Star Fox deal or what. Still, I'm happy. I don't hate 3D Castlevania as much as everyone else. Kojima is involved.

I'm really looking forward to the new MGS. Raiden was fantastic in MGS4 and looks like he'd be fun to play. I'm curious how it'll play because Raiden's style in MGS4 felt like it'd fit better in an action game than a stealth game.

Glad it's on PS3, much better controller.

I'm envisioning Tenchu style gameplay for some reason with Raiden. I could see it working. Also, I know he's a DLC character for the MGO SCENE expansion - but I have yet to get that so I don't know how he plays..

On G4 they kept mentioning an Uncharted multiplayer beta being available on PSN starting right then. Of course this was from two days ago. I can't seem to find it anywhere in the PSN store. Am I not seeing something or did they already take it down, like it was just supposed to be available as a tease or something?
