If I am going to spend $70 on hamburgers, its going to be to cook them for a group of ten, or take three other people to Red Robin or something. That's ridiculous.

To be fair, that's a Canadian $70 with Canadian restaurant prices and 13% tax, before tip. If had to guess, it was probably $15 per burger ($30), the extra side of rings was $6 ($36), unless the beers were in the Bud / Coors / Blue range this craft burgery place charged at least $7 per pint. $50 becomes $56.50 after tax, a 20% tip takes you to $67.50 which makes you say "shouldn't I just round that to a nice number?" and it becomes $70.

I bet it's not as good as the burgers from The Works, which is a chain in Ontario, Canada. Here is their website, which includes their menu.

The most recent time I went to Green Bay I stopped at a Michigan burger chain in St. Ignace on the way home called Clyde's Drive In which I really enjoyed. Great burgers and really cheap too.

Just tried one.

It's very good as a whole. There's a sauce on it attempting to add spice. I don't know if they just didn't apply enough or what, but that aspect of it tasted like a half measure. It's like, "We want to add a bit of kick, but we don't care enough to put forth the effort."

Otherwise I was very pleasantly surprised. Hopefully, for my arteries' sakes, it's only a temporary menu item.

One of my favourite burger places, Lakeview Burger out of Oshawa is expanding into several more locations in southern Ontario, so if we have anyone else who lives up here besides me, you might want to keep an eye out for one near you.

Arby's is testing out venison burgers. They rolled out pork belly a bit ago, which seems to have gone well, but this seems like a stretch.

Being that we're so close is Toronto on the list?

Could be, they say they there are going to be several locations. The only one that has been officially announced is Bowmanville, which is opening in December.

I had In-N-Out for the first time while I was in Vegas two weeks ago. It was good but I'd rank it below Shake Shack and maybe Five Guys. Those animal style fries were on point, though.

I haven't tried Shake Shack yet but hear good things. Think they are mostly still east coast right now.

I love me some In-N-Out. Definitely prefer them over Five Guys myself. Last time I had Five Guys it was way too greasy, heavy, too much. In-N-Out is always fresh and never really feels greasy/fatty.

Same shit to me. Five guys, in-n-out, shake shack. They’re slightly different from each other but about same quality

To be honest In and Out tasted like Sonic to me. I like Sonic so I liked it.

I don't do onions. I get my In and Out (the 3x I've eaten it) with just meat, cheese and sauce. It's delicious.

I don't particularly like grilled onions but I can fuck with raw onions on a burger, especially chopped.

Also, whoever puts mushrooms on burgers cannot be trusted.

I can't do onions unless they're breaded and fried.

I haven't really ever liked mushrooms on my burger, but the prime chophouse burger at Red Robin is pretty damn good.

Mushrooms aren't my favourite topping, but I get them every so often. I get grilled onions all the time, even at home. I put them on hotdogs and sausages too.
