Yes, there was an option formerly were you could set who would play during what formation there was. It was what I used to run a dual back set. I have no idea what they've done with it. I'm assuming its still there, but good luck finding it.
The reason why create a playbook was taken out, is simply because it probably takes up too much space for other things. What these other things are, I can only guess as being "Fight For The Fumble" or Pro-Tak. So that's probably why its no longer in.
Also, still can't think of which team to blow up. I mean all of the following have such good things to blow them up for:
Bengals - Hey, I can get rid of all the malcontents! Huzzah! Its also the Bungals, so that right there is a plus in my books.
Bills - To Toronto! <_< Yeah... That's about the only reason for blowing them up.
Browns - A team that's got an aging defense, and a really bad offense. Put the two together and you've got a recipe for disaster!
Bucs - The team is an absolute mess. Might be fun trying to figure out who should stay, go, and go "hey, I've got this guy here, can get a football for him?"
49ers - Hey, you honestly can't tell me that the 49ers couldn't use a blow up. Sure, I'd waste a year, maybe two of Gore, but hey, I could win the SuperBowl in a year.
Lions - They've got Stafford and Megatron, so I'd rather not use them...
Pats - Now I know what you are saying "what the hell are the Pats doing on this list?". Who said I'd blow up only bad teams? Blowing up a good team can be just as fun! ...really! <_<
Raiders - Yeah, Al Davis dies and I take over. Simply and easy.
Rams - This team so needs help nearly everywhere, that its not funny.
Texans - Does this one really need to be explained? Lack of a secondary, lack of a QB that will last more than 4 years, and the linebackers just blow. Also no real depth either.
