Pretty mediocre draft for me overall, although that Giovanni Girley guy I drafted looks pretty awesome, and I got two 90+ speed linebackers and big 94 STR defensive lineman, so I can't complain much.

I got a couple tight ends and a cornerback. Most of the positions I needed help in, the options were pretty limited.

Fazzle was there, I'm quite sure I saw him logged in. I picked up Ellerbe as my single player.

Hey, Matt, if you want, I'll trade you Redman if you'd like. I've got Perry so its not like I desperately need him.

Currently on the block: Redman (QB), Norwood (HB), Wilkerson (G), and Davis (E).

Also, no worries on the first round Matt.

Oh, and Matt, can I get a chance to pick up another Safety? I kinda screwed up and dropped the one I had before the draft and didn't realize I'd still be needing him.

...I still sorta need depth, but oh well, not much I can do about it except draft it next year.

Has anyone else had problems with the servers today? I had to start my game three times. First, it said I lost connection to the franchise servers the second the game started, and the second time it just plain froze.

Ok, seriously, what the fuck is up with passing? I'm tossing it to legitimately open guys, but the CPU is like all the sudden there and nabbing it with INTs.

After my first game, I might just base my entire offense off of the ground. It was absolutely rediculous how they just suddenly "oh hey, I'm over here, but I'll just magically pick him off".

Ok, now that I've had a good night's rest, I just stunk it up yesterday with the passing. I don't even know why I bothered to pass when I had nearly 250 yards rushing. I should've just rammed it down people's throats without question.

Also Matt, the servers yesterday were down. Tuesday is usually when servers are normally fixed and/or updated with software, so its likely that's why no one could get on.

BTW, I'd like to update that I'm looking to trade for a defensive tackle or some really good offensive linemen.

...damn I wish I could trade with the computer... I doubt I can afford to give up whatever anyone wants for those...

Exactly what Kinsey said there. I couldn't get anything done on offense in the first half, except one drive where I got in a goal to go situation..and then promptly threw a pick. Kinsey took a 17-0 lead into halftime.

Then he proceeded to turn the ball over twice in the second half, and I made the comeback to win 21-17.

As soon as I threw it to Heap and knew it was a pick....horrible, horrible decision.

That Ray Rice fumble was the game changer, as soon as that happened, I lost all momentum. I totally thought I had that 567 yard field goal too. Just short enough.

The Bills would love for Trent Edwards to play as good as he did in that game. That pass to Evans(?) that made it go from 3rd and 17 to 4th and short was a hell of a play.

The game also showed my lack of a true #1 WR. Mason just could not get open when I needed to stretch the field, he just doesn't have the speed. I have to be in full on 3 headed RB monster.

*sigh* Looks like I'm just going to play out the season and draft by need for the off-season. I don't really have any thing that I can afford to trade away.

I wish that the draft would include the same little portrait for stats the rookies are good at like in the real franchise, because they fixed the draft, and now if someone's got some good skills, they actually usually are an A or a B and worth a pick.

I won a sloppy, rain soaked game against the Broncos. My defense hung surprisingly tough in the game, not giving up a touchdown the whole way. Best play of the game came when the Broncos were running a no huddle towards the end of the first half and my rookie CB made a tackle at the 1 yard line after a big completion, then on the next play, Orton threw a pick right to one of my safeties to close out the half. Then receiving the second half kickoff I brought it back all the way and sealed the game right there.

Hope Kinsey takes me up on the offer since I'm going to need defense and a new QB baaaadly. Hasselbeck is going the way of the dodo at this point. And my rookie running back, Giovanni Girley, had a hell of a debut but then dislocated his elbow and is out for three weeks. He's living up to his surname quite well already!

Also did anyone see the QB in the draft from the University of Florida named "Tim Tribow"? He's big, fast, and has a hell of an arm but no accuracy whatsoever! Who ended up getting him? Thought that was hilarious.
