I agree with you, but it's still best to send messages both on the board and on Live. I've only been on Live maybe 10 days out of the last 30, for example. Then again, you can check Live messages on Xbox.com.

I considered just punting every series after your running back ran through my first defender without any collision detection and then broke 4 more tackles...for the second TD in a row where your guy broke 4 tackles.

Yeah BPS that was weird. I mean when I broke the first one, I thought that was a fluke, and then I broke the second TD run and I'm going "uh...", because that was honestly weird. As I said in PM though, you gave me the very first game where I was worried a shit load. Especially since I totally abandoned my game plan from the outset till the second half when I calmed down again.
Frankly I still can't believe how lucky I got on guys breaking through. 3 of my TDs came off of guys busting 4 tackles. Two by Turner, and one by Douglas.
And I apologize again if that first TD run by Turner in which I broke the 8 tackles (I counted) seemed like I was being an ass (I ran from one side of the field to the other for those who wanna know). I don't have confidence in my defense against the pass, so I wanted to make sure that I could kill as much time off the clock. I absolutely suck on passing D and 4th quarter. I wasn't mad about anything. I was annoyed by my guys apparently not doing their tackling drills all week. The first one i was trying to strip the ball so I figured that was it...but unless I was lining up to make a hard hit...my guys couldn't tackle worth a dick.

I Finished My Game against Baltimore, I started off the first half shaky, throwing 3 INTs and Only putting up 7 Points. But my D Came to play the Entire Game holding Baltimore to only 6 Points. I chalked up 4 TDs with Brady to win 35-6.

Bond never got a hold of me, so I had to boot him to play the CPU. He was invited back, and I hope he rejoins.
This week, everyone plays the CPU. As such, the week will be short. The deadline will be Wednesday night at midnight Pacific time.
We have one possible issue- VX, you play SF this week. Could you wait till Wednesday to play your game? If bond doesn't rejoin by Tuesday night, you can just play the CPU. If you can't do Wednesday, I'll extend the deadline for you.

Well, I get to play the 1-6 Rams, so it looks like I'll be keeping my winning streak alive.
Seriously though, what the hell is up with my schedule? Its like I'm an NCAA team that put every single cupcake out there on it besides one or two trouble games (player opponents).
Also, I think I'm going to need to develop my passing game some more because I've been throwing way too many interceptions for my liking. Guess I'll need to switch my team to a pass first offense in my Madden offline franchise.

Well, I lost to the Rams 27-14.
Not like due to the fact that you know, I had a terrible game. I had a great game. If you discount the 5 bullshit turnovers that cost me the game.
That would be the starting fumble that had the bar all the way over to the Rams before I even had a chance to press a button. My guy was the first one on the ball! I repeat, "my guy is on the ball, why do I have a disadvantage so great that no amount of button mashing can save me".
Field goal, btw. I was at least happy I stopped that. I'm up 7-0, I'm ok.
Then we have interception number 1 on what clearly was the most bizarre play I've ever seen in which a ball is tipped, there's no one anywhere possibly close, then suddenly and miraculously its picked by a person who's facing the opposite direction.
Ok, this leads to the score being 7-10. I'm reasonably pissed, but ok, whatever.
So we then move onto pick number 2, which consists of probably the most fucked up shit ever, in that somehow the guy tags my receiver, they both fall, the balls still up in the air, the guy who makes the tackle manages to get up and catch the ball before it hits the ground.
At this point, I went, "bullshit, absolute bullshit". 7-17, I can deal with it still, its only the first half.
But oh, it got better.
Hey, remember how I said fumble earlier that I had absolutely no chance though my guy clearly landed on it? Guess what? FUMBLE TWO IS THE EXACT SAME BULLSHIT AND KILLS MY RED ZONE DRIVE.
I managed to make a stand, got it to 14-17, and I'm within driving distance. I can make this, its not like I'll have some more bullshit.
Oh wait, everyone on my team doesn't know how to tackle all the sudden and Jackson makes me his personal bitch at 14-24. Ok, I'm really upset at this point, but I can still manage, I know I can. I have a full quarter left. What's the worst thing that could happen?
I throw a great pass to Bellows who is totally covered, makes an outstanding catch in mid-air, but oh he gets hammered so hard that the ball flies out and oh lookie! Its another INT, that not only doesn't count as a catch or drop, but looked even worst than the INT 2.
I don't know what's pissing me off more. The fact that I had the following:
1) Jackson making me his personal bitch for exactly 3 running plays and being the first RB I've let all season have 100 yards on less than 10 tries.
2) The fact that it was Dan Ovlosky that got out of the game without coughing up an INT to my defense (first game that's happened)
3) Or the fact that all the above shit just occurred and I seriously want to throw my controller out a fucking window and question why I bothered playing this game when I've had a game of that flipping [sarcasm]brilliance[/sarcasm].
You know I totally understand how Steelers (bps) feels right now.
I'd call this karma for me saying the Rams were going to be cake, but geezus that's absolute bullshit.

Week has been advanced. Leo and Venom, your games had to be simmed. From now on, I'm going with the three strikes rule, so consider this strike one for both of you. bps is gone if he misses one more game.
The only user vs. user game is Venom vs. Broward. Our deadline will be Saturday night, but Venom and Broward will be given till Sunday night if needed.

Another week, another potentially devastating injury for the Bills. Trent Edwards attempted two passes before going down with a partial groin tear. Luckily Tim Tribow was able to come in and perform better than I expected, going 8/11 for 155 yards and 2 TDs, leading the Bills to a 24-17 victory over the Vikings. Tarvaris Jackson also had a big role in the victory, thanks to the pick 6 he delivered right into the chest of rookie Alonzi Simms.

Ok, so I found a few things in my current game:
1) Okoye doesn't have enough block shedding to be my starter for my 3-4. :-\ I'm really disappointed.
2) Sanders is a great kick returner. 3 TD returns always is a good win.
3) Turner is my best player.
Players I need to target this off-season:
1) Better pass blockers - I'm f'n tired of getting crushed anytime I pass.
2) A #2 WR - Bellows isn't good enough and White can't get any separation.
3) I need some better CBs me thinks.
Edit: I just found out that my Cs have shitty STR. Hm, maybe that's why I keep having problems with passing.
