Well, fuck. I handled the Bears in my offline franchise, but I just played them in the TSM league and got beaten 35-21. I went down 14-0 in the 1st and never could recover. Jay Cutler was ridiculous, completing 17 of 20 passes for 261 yards and 3 TDs. Matt Forte was mostly held in check but did bust out a 71 yard TD run. On the Packers side, I had no running game to speak of. Aaron Rodgers went 10 for 29 (running wasn't working, plus I needed to convert long third downs) for 251 yards, 2 TDs, and 2 interceptions.

Yes, I'm still planning on being in this one but I thought since we had some differences on how it would be run, I would run a separate one for those of us interested in more "sim" style play (longer quarters maybe a few other different settings) and who didn't get the teams they wanted or didn't get Madden in time.

I've had one good play (a 54 yard TD pass that Parker just outran everyone for) and other than that It's been a struggle. Parker has converted the last 3 straight 3rd downs though to keep the clock moving.

Parker ran for a first down on 3rd and 7 to put it out of reach. I won an epic 7-6 battle.

Roethlisberger went 12-24 143 yds 1 TD 1 INT

Parker had 20 carries for 62 yds and 6 Rec for 104 yds and 1 TD

I missed a 48 yd FG and everyone on my team dropped a fucking pass for a first down at some point.

Alright, so I played the Dolphins to kick of the season.

I only needed to throw 11 times with Ryan for 8 completions of 88 yards, 0 TDs, 0 INTs.
I ran for 143 yards on 30 attempts. Turner ran for 22 times for 123 yards and a TD.
Gonzalez lead all receivers with 3/40, Norwood then with 2/23, White with 2/17 and Jenkins has the last 8 yards
Houston had an INT for my defense and was player of the game.

Pennington threw for 28 times with 17 completions for 265 yards, 2 TDs, 1INTs.
The Dolphins ran for 17 yards on 8 attempts. Ronnie Brown ran for 6 times for 18 yards.
Fasano lead all recievers with 4/45, Brown followed with 3/22/1, Hartline for 1/22/1, and Camarillo for 1/73

Box Score was:
MIA - 03 - 00 - 00 - 14 = 17
ATL - 03 - 13 - 06 - 03 = 25

Probably the biggest moments of the game were Houston's INT for a return for a TD. That swung the game totally in my favor and from there I didn't really need to look back. Though, probably the biggest moment was Carpenter's chip shot that would've made the game closer earlier on, but he hit the goal post and then I ran away with it.

Happy that I'm very good at stopping the run, not impressed though that I gave up so many yards through the air.

I just played my game against Arizona and lost 31-28. Really sucks when I can't stop their pass attack with less than 2 minutes to go in the game.

I could have won this game, but instead, I let opportunities slip away.

Online franchise: Stole one from the Eagles, 13-10. Had to kick an 18-yard game winning field goal because my Wildcat attempt with six seconds & one timeout left fell just short.

Earlier, I pulled out the old FB fake HB Toss play on 4th & 3; got 7, a first down, led to my only TD.

Offline franchise: totally stole a win from the then-11-1 Patriots. Down 17-10 with just over 3 minutes to play, I drive down and finally get an offensive touchdown with 18 seconds to play (this time the goal line wildcat worked!)...and then I intercept Brady's unexplainable (and horrible!) pass on second down & run it in for the game-winning TD with 1 second left because I foolishly forgot to stop sprinting & celebrate. I also learned to not run the Fake Punt Run with Brad Hoover, because dumbass vacuum trucks into his own blocker and can't gain a yard in 2 tries.

EDIT: And I'd have the #1 rusher in the NFL if Agent Bond didn't get torched by Beanie Wells. 6 carries, 157 yards & 2 TDs? Damn.

Just barely got a win against PK. 33-28. He scored 2 times in the last 2 minutes to make it 28-27, but then ROSCOE! PARRISH! returned the kickoff for the game winning TD. His last drive was ended on a very questionable fumble by Randy Moss.
