..after noticing a real lack of movement via trades, I think its safe to say that not allowing trades with the CPU has kinda left some people in a hole.
True, it could've opened up a whole can of worms but I'm sure we're all the type of people who wouldn't mind having to send a trade request to Matt via PM before doing so in the game so as to not get stuck with some lousy backup for half the season. PK could've traded a few pieces to say, Miami for Pat White or Tampa for Freeman or I could move Schaub out of Houston.

I narrowly escape Miami with a 7-3 victory over the Dolphins
Game was scoreless going into halftime, until they left Roscoe Parrish WIDE THE FUCK OPEN for a 59 yard TD with 54 seconds left.

Unfortunately that was the last play of the game for Trent Edwards, as he went down with turf toe for the rest of the game.
Edwards was 6/13 for 116 yards with 1 TD and 1 INT before he went out.
Fitzpatrick came in and was 4/7 for 26 yards.
Good thing Pennington stunk up the joint with a 13/19, 173, 3 INT performance.
Neither running game got anything going either. Lynch had 13 carries for 56 yards, with almost all of that coming while I was running out the clock. Ricky Williams(Ronnie Brown was out for the game) had 8 carries for a whopping 3 yards.
True star of the game was Stroud, who sacked Pennington FOUR TIMES.

I wanted to do a CPU trade but I'm fine with not being able to do it. I think if we had CPU trades, some kind of committee would have had to have been set up so people can't fleece the CPU. Maybe like, not everyone in the league has to agree to the trade, but a certain number of people do for it to go through.
I think with user trades, it will take time. I mean, we're only two weeks in. A lot of people probably don't have a good enough feel for who sucks and who doesn't on their squads yet.

Ugly, ugly victory for the Seahawks. I tried playing with a 3-4 this game for the hell of it and it certainly didn't help me the first half very much. Peyton Manning's stupid little audible callin' ass. All in all, it wasn't that bad, 10-3, until I stopped him with 2 minutes left in the first half and then they punted on 4th down, and my fucking returner fumbled it, activating FIGHT FOR THE FUMBLE, which I lost. Went to halftime down 13-3, with -9 yards in the first half. Then on the opening kickoff for the second, I take it back all the way, 10-13 now. Then Hasselbeck gets injured (just for the game, don't get excited) and I put in fuckin' Gus Frerotte and he throws a strike to Nate Burleson. Shut down Indy completely in the second half and won 23-13, despite being outgained on offense 211-85, with them converting 10 first downs to my 2. I picked Peyton off twice though, which was the key to me getting the tying FG and the Burleson TD, so I guess that was the difference. Really bad game for me, but hey I won on the road so yay?

UT beats me 31-21 in a fun, entertaining, but sloppy game.
He turned the ball over four times - three picks and a fumble. I threw one interception. I'm still not passing the ball well, but I'm very happy with my ground game.
It was closer than the score indicated, but I'm not surprised UT's 4-0 - the only bad plays he really made were the four turnovers.

Spreaded the ball around a bit more than I usually do but couldn't really get a running game established. Don't know if its cause I'm trying out the Run n Gun offense instead of just sticking with the ATL playbook I've been using or if my line just sucks too much.

TSM Madden NFL 10 League- Play your WEEK 4 games by 11:59 P.M. Friday, 9/11/09
The Josh McCown Era begins in New England! I picked him up because he has really good ratings in short and intermediate passes, which fits right into the Patriots' gameplan. In his first game against the Ravens he made a solid contribution, going 15-22 for 170 yards and 1 TD while completing passes to eight receivers.
However, the Ravens stayed in the game for most of it, including a 97 yard kickoff return by Yamon Figurs early in the second half that gave Baltimore the lead. I got it back when Jonathan Wilhite blasted Figurs on a punt return to knock the ball free and return it for a TD. I stretched the lead to 10, but Troy Smith (who came in when Flacco was injured) tossed a TD pass late that cut the lead to 3. The Ravens were driving late in the 4th, but pressure from Ty Warren (2 sacks, 2 forced fumbles) forced a bad Flacco pass that was intercepted by Bruschi and sealed the win 20-17. The +4 turnover margin basically won the game for me since my offense didn't really get going.
On the injury front, I also lost Benjamin Watson for 10 weeks due to a broken collarbone.

I'm in the process of getting blown out by the Chargers. I have hit Rivers as he threw every play...and he's 10-11 with 2 TDs.
I got stuffed at the 1 yard line on 4th down and they just drove the other way for a score.

I've managed to score with no time left in the half and on the first drive of the second half to tie it at 14.
But my defense can't stop them...so shit...I really wish I hadn't gotten stuffed at the goal line.

Good game, Loaded Glove. I just wish I could have gotten into ti. My head's been all messed up (bipolar) lately and I haven't really been able to enjoy the stuff I usually do, including video games. But that's no excuse; you beat me straight up.
That 3rd quarter killed me. I had just cut it to 17-14 at halftime, and you scored 3 TD's in the 3rd. After that, I kind of gave up and sat there petting my cat, trying to hurry up and get the game over with. Adrian Peterson was unstoppable in the run game, and he and others were nigh unstoppable in the flats.

I was all happy that I was going to get to play this week that I logged in, and while waiting for it to load thinking "hm, maybe I should try seeing if there's someone on waivers I could nab". Sadly, nope no one there.
When I finally get around to looking, I realize I'm on a bye this game week. Lord do I feel stupid.
