There was a Duggan/Kamala Vs Headshrinkers match that was taped but never aired where Duggan turned heel on Kamala and clobbered him with the 2x4.

Rick Martel vs. Ax from Demolition, from Piledriver, Show #1 1993

I saw this on the sidebar of another video and thought it was weird that Ax and The Model had a singles match in WWF then I realized it was from an indy show. Had no idea Martel was working the indies in '93. Wasn't he still with WWF?

I believe between the Rumble and the fall of 93 he was doing the indy circuit. One thing I noticed from reading old WONs from that time period (and my memory - though at the time I just assumed they hadn't been on TV or something) is WWF seemed to have a something of a "rotating door" schedule with their undercard talent.

I know Martel was big into the real estate business so he would ask for extended time off here and there.

I think Ax was in Global soon after this and had to change his name to "Axis" since WWF trademarked the Ax name.

Terry Funk vs. Virgil - NWC 7.22.1995 -
I remember hearing somebody random telling me Virgil's best match was on the indy circuit, post WWF and pre-WCW against Terry Funk and lo and behold, somebody just posted it on Wrestling Classics.

It actually is a really fun, wild brawl. NWC was the Las Vegas based indy fed that Ultimate Warrior made a few appearances for in the Summer of '95.

Furnas/LaFon vs Cibernetico/Pierroth - 1/5/1997
As confusing as the match is the presence of a teenage Josh Mathews as ring announcer.

I forgot Superstars was on until '97. The last episode I saw was sometime after Survivor Series '96 and had SID defending the WWF World Championship against a Grimm Twin. Memories.

I totally bought into the Luchadores being a new legit group of future stars after reading the WWF mag pushing them. I thought these 2 were going to be a top team (look at the sub-par competition at this point) Plus Hector Garza was suppose to be "the Spanish Shawn Micheals", By this point Superstars was off syndication so from Sept 96 til March of 97 I had no WWF to watch, so I suppose I was ready to accept anything as awesome.

The first time in nearly 14 YEARS I have seen this promo. Undertaker cutting a promo about he and Big Show driving into the middle of the desert on motorcycles. This has to be one of the most nonsensical promos in history:

I have fond memories of The Lord of Darkness, but this is just awful.

Man, this sucks! For months, I've been afraid to even come in this thread, because the pc I've been using is such a piece of shit, that it can''t even load a page with multiple embedded links without seizing up, and crashing the browser. I finally get a chance to borrow a computer that can load the page, and half the links are dead!

Jericho talks about this promo in his second book. Taker basically shot on him and buried him because Jericho (unintentionally) did the same to him. I remember this promo when it aired live and wondered why Taker went from talking about going to the desert with Big Show to talking about having more shower time than Y2J.

Only in wrestling can you tell a guy "your gimmick is to go out there and tell him why he sucks" then get buried because you told the guy why he sucks.

I don't remember this at all. I remember Landel has a brief WWF stint in 1995 but had no idea he had a cup of coffee in all the way in 1999.

Another mid-80s WWF Heel vs. Heel match. From Maple Leaf Gardens, shortly before Wrestlemania III. Weird seeing Orndorff & Bundy playing face with fellow Heenan Family member Andre challenging Hogan at Wrestlemania.
