So if anyone out there has the new Most Wanted, just add me on Live. I REALLY need someone to compete with on all that Autolog shit.

I didn't know there was a new one coming out until I saw it in the store. How is it?

Multiplayer is amazing, basically the next level of the Burnout Paradise MP. You wind up hating everybody you're playing with in record time because you get bonuses for wrecking everyone else while you're doing the challenges.

Single player is kinda there. Nothing really WRONG with it, but it's hard to get into it once you touch the Multiplayer.

Ok guys:

-Mass Effect 3
-Kingdoms of Alamaur Reckoning
-Dragons Dogma
-The Witcher 2
-Dragon Age 1
-Dragon Age 2

Which one should I play? My roommate has all of them.

I just beat Gears of War 3. What an amazing game and a fitting end to the series. I've never had this much fun playing an FPS.
I may go back on my "No online and no DLC" declaration earlier because this game was the balls and I wonder how much fun playing Horde, Beast and Versus is online. Anyone?

If you've played the other mass effects go for 3 but I'm not sure how it would play if you haven't.

I enjoyed kingdoms of amalur a lot. So if you aren't already invested is mass effect...go with that.

Dragon age 1 is also alright...but avoid 2...1 is much better

I was going to download the Fallout New Vegas DLC. I've already beaten the game though. Would I have to start a new game to play all of it? Are they just new missions that show up during the course of the game?

So if I downloaded all the extra stuff they have then it would make the game pretty damn large wouldn't it? That'd be quite a new game to start, but it'd probably keep me busy forever.

IIRC the DLC sends you to new areas. I know one makes you drop a bunch of stuff so you are under a certain weight limit.

Well that kind of sucks. Kind of messes with the main game then. But I mean my last save is right there on the Hoover Dam, so I doubt I could just run off and start these new quests.

Microsoft sent me the free limited edition 10 years of Live console and 12 months of free Xbox Live for being a Live member since the beginning. When they called to confirm my address I was thinking maybe some free MSPoints or something. This was pretty cool.

Agreed. I mean...getting a free one is nice...but I've bought 4 since the 360 came out. The original one just flat broke after the warranty ended...no red ring just...dead. The second one RROD on me...so I sent it away to get fixed and bought one in the interim because I didn't really trust the fix...funny story I gave that one to a friend and it's never had another problem. The last one I only got because I had Best Buy reward zone points expiring and I was going to buy a 250 GB hard drive anyway..so I just got the new model instead. The previous Xbox is in a cabinet in case either mine or the one I gave my friend goes down. And now I have a 5th one. Still...really unexpected and cool deal.

EDIT: I'm going to hook it up to my other TV. The reason I didn't do that with the extra one is because it didn't have the internal wifi and I gave the original adapter I bought to my friend when my new model did have the wifi in it. This one does...so I can actually get use out of it. I wasn't buying another one of those adapters.

That's pretty awesome that you got that. I think I've only maybe been a member of Gold a total of a month (and it was a free month) since I got my X-Box. As a matter of fact I rarely even get on Silver. Shit, I don't even think I know my password for my live account.

I noticed there is a Blip app now, which is cool for watching The Cinema Snob on a TV... but the app itself seems very limited with poor searching / archiving (it acknowledges there are over 700 various Brad Jones videos available but good luck accessing more than the 25 most recent).

That's why I have a hdmi cable hooked up between my computer and tv and remote mouse. Way easier than fiddling with that.

My 360 wouldn't even turn on today. Had just played it earlier in the day, as well. The light is orange so I dropped $16 on a cheap power supply on Amazon to check that route. If that doesn't work then I have to send it for repairs.

Too bad that Microsoft makes it almost impossible to find replacement power supplies.

It might be important to make sure that you've got the right power supply for your console. My knowledge about basic electrical concepts is pretty pitiful, but I do know that if the Voltage/Amperage/Wattage is off somehow, it can cause problems.

My crappy Chinese knockoff wired controller shit the bed. The thing felt pretty cheap from the beginning so I'm surprised I got even six months out of it.

Well, the replacement power supply didn't work so Xbox is off for repairs. Bad timing with some vacation days coming up.

Trials is the XBL deal today. 200 points for each of the Revolution DLC is pretty good.

EDIT: Riders of Doom isn't on sale? Lame.
