Not sure what Green was thinking with the TD, neither guy was really winning on the feet

It's funny with Dana being so mad, who knows Belal may turn into a Topuria and start calling too many shots, but he strikes me as a guy who wants to stay active and for the last three years was trying to get high level fights.

I was reading about ufc roster size and apparently it’s around 650. That’s way too many. It should be like 350 max imo
Gotta fill out those Apex cards, somehow. In related news, I heard the Apex is gonna undergo some renovations to allow for more spectator seating, which is probably good news. I don't think it's going to result in better card quality, but the novelty of a (mostly) silent arena is long gone and maybe they will upgrade to the full size cage.

I agree with you 100% but it will probably never happen because I'm guessing at least 150 of those guys are on the $12 K-$12 K deals.

I also don’t like how they show the prefight hype packages on the graphics, it really feels annoying to watch it in the corner of the tv.

I thought it was a fun concept, I tend to agree if it is a one off or a once every 3-5 years it would be fine. I don't think it would have made a huge difference, but I think they erred by not giving a little glimpse of what they were going to do with the screen during the prelims.

Wish I would have put the majority of my gambling account on Merab by decision. I think I bet against O'Malley his previous three fights so I just was too hesistant to do anything besdies a small bet.

That Orolbai third round is one of the craziest I’ve ever seen.

RDA of a few years ago could hang with dangerous welterweights but at this age it’s always a foregone conclusion.

Old guys don't win these fights, and these entire PPVs are full of these fights and usually the headliner is one of these fights, so it's no wonder that it feels like the UFC is circling the drain.

It's really unfortunate to see something that I liked so much go down the shitter like this.

This is the most aggressively right wing sport I've ever seen in this country. I don't think even Golf or old NASCAR were this abrasive about it. I can't watch the UFC at all anymore. I was considering watching Jones vs Stipe, but I know Supreme Leader Trump would be there, and get fellated by every person in the building.

I loved MMA since I watched UFC 5 when I was way too young for it. Up until 2019 or so, it was my favorite sport. I just haven't been able to watch since the pandemic. The whole company is in the toilet. I wish Japanese MMA never died and was just as big as the UFC.

As someone who has only ever been a casual fan of UFC, this is the source of tremendous cognitive dissonance on my part. It's basically the negative inverse of the WNBA, both in terms of its athletes, and the fans it openly courts.

Finally proven (albeit not in a criminal court).

McGregor put her in a chokehold and later told her, “Now you know how I felt in the octagon where I tapped out three times,” referring to a UFC match when he had to admit defeat, she said.

No words.
