I want Animal Crossing on the WiiU. Inventory management would be so much easier on the gamepad.

And speaking of the gamepad, the TV control functionality is coming in handy ever since my TV remote's batteries ran out without me having replacements.

Wind Waker HD sounds kind of cool, but kind of pointless, too. The game still looks really good and I'd rather they update Majora's Mask or something.

The one game I really want is another Donkey Kong Country. DKC Returns is probably my favourite game on the Wii and that game in full HD would be beautiful.

I'm wrestling with possibly getting rid of my Wii.
I mean on the pro side I use it for Netflix (i don't have xbox live gold). I say I use it for the VC, but I haven't bought or played a VC game in over a year. I was looking through the list and can't think of too many more I'm terribly interested in.
Then again I have the GC Wii and Fire Emblem games and I have beaten both but I really want to play them both again. So I could keep it around for that.
And I love Zelda, I love Zelda a ton. For the love of god I have a Triforce tattoo on my back. But, I've actually never beaten Ocarina of Time. I don't know why, but I have the GC disk of it and I've considered beating it and then maybe playing Majora's mask on VC.
I've never played A Link to the Past either.
As a matter of fact I've played and beaten the original Zelda game, Wind Waker and Twilight Princess and only played Skyward Sword and Ocarina of time.
Might be good just to hold onto it for old school Zelda goodness.

But to be honest I can't picture myself every buying or playing a new Wii game (maybe New Super Mario Bros).

So should I hold onto it or trade it in for more awesome X-Box games?

Aren't those just the 30 cent titles that are being released along with other titles? Or is that all they're doing??

I think the only $.30 title is Balloon Fight, but I could be wrong on that.

Nope, apparently those are the 30 cent titles. One each month along with other releases. Hopefully the "other releases" are a nice robust list. Not betting the bank on that, though.

In my bid to be the anti-Damaramu, I bought a Wii Mini. I'll never use it since they took out component support and being able to take it online, but its a cool thing to have.

You need XBL Gold to use most of the apps—Netflix, ESPN, YouTube, even Internet Explorer.

Also WiiU virtual console was announced with NES and snes games that will be playable on the tablet. If you own the Wii virtual console version already you get a discount.

That's not awful. But Nintendo really should have set up an online framework so that you're buying these games once, and able to play them on all of your Nintendo devices.

I saw a rumor about it but nothing solid. And the rumor was that they were going to announce it yesterday.

Resident Evil Revelations is coming to WiiU though.

Too quirky for its own good, but there's actual gameplay innovation in there. I gave it 7/10.

See as far as I can tell based on the quick look, the quirk is the ONLY reason why I'd ever play the game. Actually no, scratch that, it's the reason why I'd watch someone else play the game. I just hate Zuma.

If you hate Zuma you'll hate this more. It plays slower than Zuma. The quirkiness gets just dumb and forgettable after a while.
