Glad to know she hasn't changed much since the lowly northeast indy days of the early 00s. She was awesome back then, too!

I met her a couple months back at The Big Event in NY, and she was incredible. I spoke with her a bit since she didn't have a line. Truly one of the nicest people I've met as well.

Regarding Kurt Angle, I took my dad to a meet and greet with him at our local wrestling store. It was my dad's first M&G and he's a huge fan of Kurt dating back to his armature days. My dad was like a little kid. Kurt was very nice.

Just checked her Twitter feed and she implies it if not outright says it by saying they've been holed up in the house watching the Ghostbusters franchise.

She also said she's not taking indie dates after March so she can focus on training to become a professional bodybuilder.

Webster Town Hall is a great, great venue for indie wrestling (on the shores of Lake Chaubunagungamaug, @Laz ) but man, thought of a 2022 Hardys Vs SATs match. Eep.


(Although time I was there the show was main evented by a 2014 Sabu Vs 2 Cold Scorpio match so I guess things could be worse).

Questionable at best. He was in Impact for a handshake recently against Josh Alexander and really was rusty in the ring, even knocked himself out during a mistimed spot. His cardio needs some work from what I saw as he had a hard time keeping up with the pace of that match.

Just seeing interview clips with him, I could tell that he's in no shape to work for a major organization. Dude's obviously had a hell of a tough life and I don't begrudge him for trying to make a living doing what he knows best but yeeesh.

In news that only @Big Beard Booty Daddy probably cares about, Championship Wrestling is consolidating their Hollywood, Arizona, and Atlanta brands to become Championship Wrestling Presented By CarShield.

CWFH is show I've tried to get into a few times and I always wanted to like more than I actually did. It seems like Billy Corgan jacked what they were trying to do (an old school studio wrestling show in modern times), did it better than everyone stopped paying attention to them too.

I guess moral of this post is I don't know if there's even a niche audience for old school studio wrestling style wrestling in 2022. Anyone that the genre appeals too is probably an old grump that has no interest in modern wrestling even if it's presented exactly in the style that they like!
