Japan Forbidden Door. Sweet. I'm very in.

I want to see what Okada could get out of Mutoh, if I'm being serious. I consider Okada to be the best in the world and Mutoh's a kneeless old badass. Will one elevate the other or would one bring the other down in grand fashion? Would also badly push for a Shingo/Fujita match but that'd be greedy.

Give me Okada Vs Miyahara. That's the ultimate super match in Japan. Really getting hyped for all of this. I've been asking for years.

Ishii/Goto Vs Sugiura/MasatoTanaka is a must

well... it’s good they have decided to work with their domestic competitors.

Only thing this really messes up that was already being built is the Winner of Shinto/Okada Vs Will Ospreay match on night two. Which admittedly is pretty big to have a Tokyo Dome main event messed up but it is Will Ospreay so I won’t be shedding too many tears.

Also someone on NJPW Reddit (Sorry CWM) just pointed out that Naito and Ibushi seemingly have nothing to do right now so there's a few solid backup plans. But from what I've gathered Will Ospreay has established residency in Japan so he should be fine. FinnJuice, Jeff Cobb, and Jay White might be SOL though. I don't think any of them factored in huge to WK plans anyway but it does suck from a roster depth perspective.

I wonder if we've seen Jay White wrestle his last match in NJPW...I know this has come up the last few November/Decembers but it does seem more likely now than the last few years now that Ospreay's replaced him as top gaijin heel.

The only way Jay won't work for NJPW in Japan again is if he signs with WWE which would be really dumb of him given their current trackrecord but if they throw enough money at him he might decide to take the risk and I get it. Sometimes you have to back yourself.

Otherwise he'll be back. As long as I get to see all the NOAH guys and possibly others at WK I don't give a shit if Will Ospreay never wrestles another match. Shiozaki is back on 12/5. Fuck yeah! Give me Okada Vs Shiozaki!

There was enough of a clamor RE: him leaving last year that New Japan made an angle out of it and removed his profile from the website for a few weeks at the beginning of the year.

Only thing that makes me think Jay might jump to WWE is fact that he lives in Florida but so does almost every North American wrestler so that's not much of an indication he'll jump. Unless NJPW is planning on pumping a ton of money into STRONG, I think he'd be a fool not to try and see what he could get from the big two NA promotions. It's not like his talents are misused in Japan but Idk if it's the best place for them to be properly showcased, you know?

I could totally be wrong and get called a "fool and clown" for saying this but I think there's a fairly decent chance that Jay White might do kind of OK in WWE. He has enough "Rowdy" Roddy Piper in him that I think he'd kind of impress the Titan brass. I'm not saying main event WrestleMania level guy but at the level that Shinsuke and Finn Balor have gotten.

If I had to predict though, I think he's staying with NJPW and is just trying to work us again.

White can pay off that Impact appearance now. Big hope from me though is the people who had never seen Ishii and MiSu until recently are drawn to a show with all Japanese talent so converts can continue and more doors open.

Okada/Shiozaki is what's up, though.

I just remembered that Impact's next PPV Hard to Kill is on the same night as WrestleKingdom Night 3. I think NJPW and Impact would be smart to put an STRONG Title match on Hard to Kill tbh.

that sounds really fun for sure. as far as the njpw show, i don't know how much to read into kevin kelly doing the broadcasting beyond the fact the winners of both finals will face the champions at WK. Obviously I hope we get some NOAH guys showing up or something else of that nature. I'd love to see KONGOH invade and start some shit especially.

Cards that don't warrant a thread. I'll actually be able to watch this tomorrow as I have random day off and need some time to kill tomorrow AM.

This one of those incidents where you miss a few months of shows and are like "Wait a second WHO IS IN THE MAIN EVENT!?". It's like early-mid '00s WWE. Man, maybe this means YOSHI-HASHI will get a big match at the Tokyo Dome!!!

I would hope goto/yoshi win especially as a goto/yoshi defence against a noah team on night 3 would be FIRE. There's also going to be the Shibata announcment on this show IIRC.

Watching misu destroy all those young lions looks almost as fun as anything else on here. decent show.
