Picked up Mafia III. Probably one of the strongest openings to a game I've played in a while. The story is framed as like one of those crime documentaries like Cocaine Cowboys and the acting and animation in the characters is REALLY good.

It fucking nails its 60s America look and feel.

They just had a Steam free weekend for their Early Access game Smash + Grab, which is now unavailable to buy.

Dead Star'a servers are going down as of November 1. I can't say it wasn't foreseeable, since the very steep learning curve made it hard to match up with veteran players, but it was a really fun game while it lasted.

Have you bought any sort of anti-virus/internet protection software? I started doing that about 5 years ago and haven't had a problem since.

I know there is free alternatives but when you use the computer and internet a tonne it's nice not having to worry.

You know, kinda bullshit that the Game Awards show didn't announce the winner of Fan Creation until someone pointed it out from somewhere else. And you can find an article about this on Kotaku as to where that was, because I forget.

I mean, all it would take is saying "during the pre-show, Enderal won the award". Add in that the fan creations that were made my Nintendo all got squashed because Nintendo's funding the entire thing now and well. That was excellent.
