I probably agree that McMahon wouldn't do the Horsemen, at least not under that name anyway. Not buying the burial, though. When he finally did go north just a few years later he couldn't have been much more protected or well promoted.

To be fair to Flair it was a very different world in 1991 than 1988.

One of the Apters did an article in 89 when Arn, Tully, Barry and JJ were all in the WWF suggesting Dillon was secretly rebuilding the Horsemen.
If booking for Smarks was a thing then, they probably pull the trigger on the angle. WWF kids were largely not in the know about the "blander" NWA guys. Arn and Tully with no music and black jackets aren't exactly stand outs in the WWF circus until the bell rings.
That being said, I was baffled in 1991 or so when I first got my vintage Apters in a rummage sale and saw all the results of the Bushwackers beating the Brain Busters when they first came in. I only knew them as dominant ass kickers.

From what I remember if Flair had jumped in 1988 he was scheduled to be Dibiase's protege and would have been a proxy for Ted against Savage

I haven't been there yet, but I have a hunch that someone in McMichael's position loves to see their friends and family smiling when they see them instead of being repulsed or avoiding altogether.

Mongo is supposedly in great spirits so I'm not bothered. It's dark and it's taste is very, very dubious posting a pic like that but I think honestly it's more Conrad than Flair. If anything Mongo is probably the only Horseman who wants anything to do with him, maybe because he can't move and run away.

Honestly I agree with Brody. There are people in the final stages of hospice who don’t see their friends because they don’t want to be remembered like that. Without the express consent of the patient it’s extremely tacky.

I think it’s just a bad look. Even if there isn’t bad intent behind it. Flair also has a history of gossiping about wrestlers in poor health as it is. On his podcast he’d just blurt stuff out because it seemed like he couldn’t hold it in any longer.

Was also odd posting a pic of himself crying in front of his son’s resting place… it’s just fucking weird. Seems like he’s into pity/mourning porn.

Fat Jericho might be an aged Joe Gomez. He is Flair’s IRL best friend supposedly.

I almost posted that picture yesterday ITT. Regardless of whether or not, Flair is a horrible person, it is kind of sad to so few of his co workers show up for his birthday considering how dedicated to the biz Flair is.

Also just noticed none of his family are there either besides Wendy. Oof. I don’t think I’d swap my life for Flair’s for all of the money Hulk won in the Gawker lawsuit.

On one hand, it's more Flair scum. On the other hand, you have to be really really stupid to front Flair 41k. I'd be dubious loaning him any more than $20!

As uncomfortable as it might make some feel, Flair isn’t a photog breaking in and taking candid photography against the McMichael Family wishes.

Of all the terrible things Flair is guilty and accused of being, this isn’t the one the touchy feeling internet needs to get on his case about.

Just keep scrolling to the next outrage post.
