Heard "The Sweetest Thing" today, and I've come to the conclusion that for the large part, I don't feel one way or the other about U2. There are songs from them I like, but at the end of the day they are just okay to me.

That's the only U2 song I like, I think. Based solely on it being the most un U2 single they put out.

Maroon 5 should be thrown off a cliff.

New, almost programmable playlists at work. Still random but WAY better random options. It's going to lead to a war, however

came on and I lost my goddamn mind. Perfect song.

I’ve come to accept that I’d prefer hearing 80s songs I don’t care for (“Broken Wings”) instead of most of the 00s music they play. Getting to hear “Roam” by the B-52s and “Vacation” was nice.

Hard same. Although if I hear any iteration of "Africa" again I might get fired.

Surprisingly not overplayed-you're more likely to hear Hoobastank's "The Reason".

I love "Roam" and "Vacation"

Listen to "Roam" at least a few times a month

Hearing Sixpence None The Richer covering "Don't Dream it's Over" is like watching a remake of a great movie-it might not be bad (in this case it isn't) but you'd rather hear the original.

"Lola" is working its way into the rotation and I'm afraid.

Song's honestly pretty sweet if you listen to the message, too.

"Barely Breathing" by Duncan Sheik is a damn catchy song and I'll always be happy when Mariaha's "Emotions" plays. Savage Garden still sucks though.

“I Want You” is an unassailable bop. “To The Moon and Back” is a good ‘90s update on Face Value era Phil Collins.

"I Want You" at least has the most late 90s video one can generate.

"I Knew I Loved You" and "Truly Madly Deeply" are stomach charmingly sweet but have its place in the musical landscape.

Also unlike Train, Savage Garden had decency to break up after two albums and not keep foisting Hallmark card bullcrap on adult contemporary radio for decades.

I cannot muster a defense of "The Animal Song" from The Other Sister soundtrack but I did watch that movie an inexplicable amount when it was in the premium cable movie rotation.
