I have a one year PS Plus Membership. So far all I've used it for is Saints Row 3 and NBA Jam and a discount on Infamous. Oh and some avatars and backgrounds.
I feel it has already more than paid for itself.

I played the demo, a bit frustrating, but I'll love it I think. I've preordered the steel book special edition cause it was the same price as the normal one. Roll on Friday.

I picked up God of War Ascension Collector's Edition for $19.01 at Target this evening. I played it for about two hours and really like what I've played of it. My only issue for now is the camera stays panned out so far, I often confuse Kratos with an enemy and vice versa. The scenery, especially when fighting the first Titan is really something to behold though.

Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix announced for 2014. PS3 exclusive, will include HD versions of Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix, Birth by Sleep Final Mix, and HD remastered cinematics from Re:Coded. I'm thinking this will be how I finally finish Birth by Sleep, since I never play my PSP anymore and they never released it digitally so there's no way to play it on the Vita (or the PSP without a UMD slot. Evil motherfuckers Sony, evil motherfuckers.) I'm also excited to get the final mix version of KH2.

I'm thinking this will be how I finally finish Birth by Sleep, since I never play my PSP anymore and they never released it digitally so there's no way to play it on the Vita (or the PSP without a UMD slot. Evil motherfuckers Sony, evil motherfuckers.) I'm also excited to get the final mix version of KH2.

The rumor I've heard is that the KH games can't be released digitally due to Utada's music and copyrights therein and such. 3D isn't on the eShop either.

Driveclub is delayed into 2014 now. Feeling better about my decision not to get either console right off the bat. Not a lot going on in November to be excited about.

Sorry about the unemployment. I think getting a console at launch is generally stupid because usually there's a higher risk of faulty ones at launch.

So, yesterday marked the 13th anniversary of the North American launch of the PS2. FUCK I'm getting old!

I reserved one on a whim in like January because my friend who worked at KayBee Toys told me I should and it was just a $10 deposit and why not I can always cancel. Then in the fall PS2 fever hit the nation and suddenly I REALLY wanted one, but figured I wouldn't get one as you kept hearing about how the supply was being cut. Parents wouldn't let me skip school to buy it but they agree to go try and pick up my pre-order for me and amazingly enough they had it. There wasn't much in the way of games at the beginning but it was my first DVD player and I used the fuck out of that function. Good memories.

...also that was senior year of high school. Holy fuck has it been that long? OLD!

I didn't have one reserved. I called my best friend at 3 AM and said get your ass up, we're going to get in line at Target! At 3:45-ish when we got there, the line was pretty long. Around 30 minutes or so before the store opened, they passed out cards to everyone in line guaranteeing you a system if you returned to the store withing 2 hours after it opened. I ended up with system 26 of the 31 that they had. We went ahead and picked it up while we were there. I had already bought Dynasty Warriors 2 the previous week, so I at least had something to play. Up to 30 characters on screen at once! Holy shit!

I can remember the PS2 launch being countered by Majora's Mask. And I'm pretty sure the Dreamcast launch had Final Fantasy VIII against it.

Starting with Killzone: Shadow Fall, and possibly Battlefield 4 if my buddies get their copies around the same time. Also will probably be doing a lot of random digital stuff that is available on PSN and more than likely the re-launch of DCUO whenever it happens.

I remember getting the PS2 in February, my dad got a vacation check from his work and got us the system with GTA III, Smackdown: Just Bring It, and Legends of Wrestling. Eh, one out of three isn't bad.

That's what I hated, I remembered having so much fun in Know Your Role's career mode with all the random and weird shit. I remember being Triple H and saving Kane from an X-Pac and Tori beatdown, even though they were on my side.

Great big PS4 FAQ. Some highlights (lowlights?): No MP3 or audio CD playback. No DLNA support. No upgrading child PSN accounts to adult accounts. No changing your PSN user name. No Bluetooth headset support. No support for sharing via YouTube at launch. I might be reading it wrong, but it seems like the automated patch feature still requires PS+. There's probably more.

I'm fine with a lot of those things. I've never once used my PS3 to play any kind of mp3 or CD audio and I've never once used the media server functionality for anything.
