The speakers folded inward like doors, so you could close the TV when not using it. How futuristic.

The good news: The Vita memory cards will be slightly cheaper than first reported. The bad news: some games and apps won't even let you open them without having a memory card. A memory card which is not included with the system.

It looks kind of neat, and I assume someday they'll release a Vita only game that I have to have, but it's going to take one hell of a game to get me to bite I think. I'm very happy with my 3DS, and obviously I'm annoyed with bullshit like requiring a memory card but not including one. Among other things.

I found out how to copy games to your PSP from your PS3 with Firmware 4.0. Basically, games will no longer automatically install themselves. While in an uninstalled state, they can be copied. That's it.

Is there a way to copy game saves between the PS3 and PSP, or to another PS3? It seems like it should be simple, but either I'm stupid, or Sony is being Sony again.

Some games have locked save files and the only way to transfer them is using the cloud save option which is a PS+ perk. I blame the shitty trophies for this travesty.

What about copying ps1/ps2 memory card data? Is there a way to do it besides having to copy the data back to an actual ps1/ps2 memory card?

And Sony can't hide behind the trophies as an excuse. Copying x-box save files is a piece of cake and they've got achievement points.

I figured out how to copy what I needed. Pretty lame that PS3 game saves are locked though. Good thing I don't play PS3 games!

If you are talking about a PS one downloaded classic, you can do it, but I can't remember where. You should be able to go to the Save Data manager for PS one games and copy it.

Interesting fact: Achievements are basically stored Server-side (When you unlock an achievement offline, it's just waiting to sync back to the mothership). Trophies are stored client-side, with the online sync as not a big of a deal as it is on the Xbox.

Netflix on my PS3 is dead! Why!?

Not really. But I deactivated all the devices I had on my netflix account. Now I'm trying to reactive my PS3 and it won't let me, and I can't figure out way. Any help? Whenever I click on Netflix it just takes me to the 'Are you a netflix member?' screen, but I can't click anything because it's just the gray loading bars.

I've tried deleting and reinstalling several times. And it's not netflix, because I reactivated it on my Xbox to see if it would work, and that took like 1 minute. Is there a way to 'clear my PS3s cache' (Not the browser cache) or something? I can't figure out how to get past this screen.

edit- Nevermind. Don't know if it was just down or if this actually affected it, but it worked after I downloaded the old version from the PSN menu first, then update, instead of just using the 2.06 link from the main menu.

If it ever happens again, also try holding down select and start when you boot up Netflix. This resets all settings to default.

My PS3 recently stopped sharing with my PC (or vice versa), but it gives some wacky statement like "console name 703 not recognized on media server".

I noticed that, but use PS3 media server for streaming to my living room etc. Always made things way easier.

Add me to that list as well. The icon usually disappears when I power down my PC, as well, but this time it didn't go away until I reset the PS3 itself.

I know we have a thread on it but I don't want to dig it up for this comment. I finished the first Uncharted game. It was pretty good. It had the most realistic graphics I've ever seen in a game and the puzzles were pretty fun. I hated that the game didn't download the patch when I started on Wednesday and I completed like a third of it without get a single trophy. Also, those mutated creatures sucked. They gave too much damage, you couldn't fight them hand to hand, the CPU AI mercenaries would rather fight you than the abominations, and they felt kind of out of place for a realistic game.

My PSP won't connect to the internet. It sees my router and I inputted the security key. It tells me that it timed out after thirty seconds. Help please.

Are you choosing the correct type of security key? On mine it gives me three options and only the last one would work.

I had a weird dream a few nights ago where the Vita was a huge flop and everyone hated it. I'm not sure why, I have no thoughts on this either way.

Have they said if you'll be able to stream PS1 games from the PS3 to the Vita like you can the PSP? Because that's a feature I really liked with the PSP and it'd be nice to have whenever I have to get a Vita (aka whenever they release some Vita exclusive Final Fantasy or Kingdom Hearts game most likely.)

I haven't heard, but I believe the answer is yes. Of course, if it's a downloaded PS1 game you can copy it over.
