King Cucaracha
Well, let's see.
I kinda built towards Wrestlemania similarly to real-life. At least the main stories. Best Of 7 with Booker/Benoit, Edge cashing in on Cena, Rey winning the Rumble, etc. So the WM card looks pretty similar. The main problem being, a) apparantly John Cena and Edge "don't work together well" in this scenario, leaving me to suffer through with some B level matches. And b) the scenario had Finlay as a retired road agent, with lousy stats, so I've had to create and add him as a wrestler as well. Also, c) the US business is tanking, 'E' and falling.
Wrestlemania 22
World Tag Titles: Big Show and Kane (c) d. Carlito and Masters (A, Carlito is over and having great matches, another inconsistency with real-life)
Women's Title: Mickie James d. Trish Stratus (c) (B+, having to do it again at Backlash because the women's stats are pretty damn poor, I had to turf Stacy, Christy, Ashley and Candice for being literally worthless)
Money In The Bank: RVD d. Matt Hardy, Regal, Flair, Booker and Jeff Hardy (B, RVD's MITB, but I'm not doing any of the ECW redux stuff)
US Title: JBL d. Chris Benoit (c) (B+)
Hardcore Rules: Edge d. Mick Foley (B+)
IC Title: Chavo Guerrero d. Gregory Helms (c) (A)
World Title: Rey Mysterio d. Randy Orton and Batista (c) (A, same basic deal but with Batista instead of Angle)
Casket Match: Undertaker d. Mark Henry (A*, presumably because it was a brawl-based match. And Taker is super-over.)
RAW versus Smackdown: Kurt Angle d. Bobby Lashley (A*, time to start pushing Bobby)
Grudge Match: Shawn Michaels d. Shelton Benjamin (A, has Benjamin turn on Shawn and allign with Vince, also got an A* out of them at NYR, so going backwards there)
WWE Title: John Cena (c) d. HHH (A*)
So, basically the same. Now all the storylines I started at the beginning have finished, I can start changing up a little more. Especially with no ECW. Smackdown's been pretty lousy with my midcard superstars like New LOD, Holly, Orlando, Basham, Sylvan, Stevie, Burchill, Simon Dean, Tatanka. Improving now. RAW's now going down, with Umaga struggling to get over (I must have mucked up Armando's stats somewhere) and the Spirit Squad still being geeks.
Backlash I've got Cena/HHH/Angle/Edge, Shawn vs. Shelton/Vince, Show/Kane vs. Snitsky/Tomko, Flair/Umaga, RVD/Carlito, Chavo/Dupree, Mickie/Trish and a Spirit Squad 10 man tag.
Judgment Day is Rey/Batista, Benoit/Orton, Booker/Lashley, MNM/Londrick, a CW Title 6-Way with Noble as the champion... and a bunch of guys I need to figure out what to do with. Did I mention the SD midcard sucks? Slowly getting Kennedy over, signed Hernandez to be Simon Dean's 'bodyguard/muscle guy', created Finlay.
Got, amongst others, Lance Hoyt, Prince Nana, Eric Young and Bobby Roode in developmental. Plus Punk and Dreamer. Dave Prazak as SD announcer instead of Cole. ROH got a TV show. So did IWA:MS. TNA lost Xplosion. Their World Champion is Kip James (yes, really), and their tag champions were until recently the dream team of Brock Lesnar and Rikishi (yes, really). The computer-generated tag team names are stupid and kinda annoying when you're reading results and not knowing who's involved, but it redeemed itself by naming the Lesnar/Rikishi dynamic duo "The Unexpected". No shit!
