A blind freefall onto literally anything is stupid and considering that you can't gauge how much give or padding there is under your weight at 400lbs and in a fucking thong, it's stupider. And I took that same bump just as you describe (not with a rope because I'm not a pussy), and it's one of the dumbest things you can do. Hay is not a trustworthy padding. It, and any bump where someone is unprotected and can't see what's happening, are stupid and unnecessary.

I never thought of it before but Mero would have added some much needed star power to ‘99-‘00 ECW and probably would have been able to work around his limitations.

He might have not made a comeback in ‘00 though cause he had a sweet Lloyd’s of London policy. I am not sure if he worked at all between the end of his WWF run and him showing up in Brod’s favorite ‘00s promotion the XWF.

With the recent Vince stuff, I now wonder if Sable went to Brock to end whatever the hell was going on with Vince and her.
Re-hiring Sable after the law suit and doing the lesbian stuff followed by "dating" Vince is some next level fuckery.
Kind of the opposite of ol' Verne who burned bridges and rarely mended them with talent.

Joe E Legend seemed to work best outside of the WWF machine. He wasn't going to set the world on fire anywhere he went, but it's not like he was given a particularly grand opportunity in the Fed, either.

Just Joe jobbed cleanly to the Brooklyn Brawler. He was lowest totem pole name wrestler WWE had had since Virgil or Koko B. Ware. Only to be surpassed by JTG and Curt Hawkins.


Idk what it says that almost all of these guys are either African American and/or from the Tri State Area.

Hey Virgil and Koko were involved with top stars and made an impact. Joe's contribution is Austin beating the shit out of him when he came back in 2000.

Having to gladhand a bunch of day drunk smarks who are on the 4th or 5th day of a bender seems like Al Snow’s waking nightmare.

I almost wish me and/or @Laz could make the trip to Philly to tell him that Steamboat/Savage was a better match than Hogan/Andre. (While wolfing down some half priced shrimp and wings)

This would be right around the time I got my first batch of UFC dubbed tapes.
I don't think I knew for years that Tiger White was actually a Shamrock trainee and not just an MMA dude who took got to roll on RAW.
