I mean it sounds like a wild experience. Amsterdam with guilt.

It's weird but the only people I know who have found Ellen funny have either been dying of cancer or didn't speak English.

I'm seeing John Mulaney in a few weeks. I haven't seen live comedy in awhile and the tickets were free so why not? I don't dislike him.

That dude was never funny. He always seemed genuinely unhinged.

The only funny thing he was ever a part of was when Joe Pesci kicked his ass (kayfabe, but still).

One of my favorite comedians... Bill Engvall's final show from 2023 free w/ads on Youtube. Great stuff even for a final show.

I watched Natasha Leggero do a stand up set in VR in Meta's Horizon Worlds. It was...weird. For her part she was moving her avatar around and gesturing like someone would in the real world, but something about it just felt off. And there was no audience wherever she recorded it so it was weird not hearing laughter unless someone in the vr room with me laughed, which didn't really happen, there was just awkward conversation. I think a vr video recording of a stand up set would have been much better. As much as I like VR, it still whiffs more than it hits.
