Dave's hate-archivist cut out the minute before that where Dave said that she can be a star (but he doesn't trust WWE not to mess it up) and points out that she was a legit college hurdler. The autism contained in the clip was in response to Bryan comparing the vignette to the Mr. Perfect skits which he said were obvious bullshit compared to the realness of Bianca. And so Dave had to point out that it was a work, just like that time he had to point out that Vince will not live to 150. Whether this excuses his latest problematic moment, I'm sure it does not, but it is definite that @MeltzerSaidWhat deliberately removed context in order to get his followers worked up about Dave doing misogynoir. It worked, so.

Dave said on paper it shouldn't work, but if the fans enjoy it, then it works. He said he's seen it work on a couple of shows, Bryan asks where, and Dave told him. Nothing more, nothing less. I know you hate him, and this thread is to make fun of the things he says, but let's try to not exaggerate things.
The Rock put on concerts, Austin and Angle had singing segments. There were no full out Broadway performances, but this isn't the first time a wrestling show, on a national level, has had music performances from the wrestlers that aren't musical characters.

Until you get a couple weeks past the election I don't think anything draws big numbers. If you look at the cable ratings AEW was only beaten by 1 non-news show. And even that was down from where it usually is .36 from .45s.

I wasn't a fan at all of the song and dance stuff, but unless the show was doing good numbers and then once that started it dropped, I would consider the news a valid argument. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying AEW should be happy with the number dropping, just that it is fair to look at other factors, and consider this is a highly unusual time.
One of the things I'm actually curious about, is if Biden wins the election and proceeds to have an exceedingly boring presidency if cable news shows drop like rock. And if entertainment networks pick up viewers.
